Perhaps you might read the Wikipedia policy WP:SOCK on actions which might be construed as that of an agent provocateur. Your single contribution appears to bear that out. Please continue your contributions as proof of good faith edits if you do not wish this single edit to be reverted by others. --Ancheta Wis 02:40, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you might be a little less ignorant in your accusations. I signed up for Wikipedia for the first time yesterday as Biowolf, a "user name" I have used for about 12 years in games, e-mails and various other enterprises. I have never signed on Wikipedia under any other alias or pseudonym prior to yesterday. I have on occasion used information in articles posted on Wikipedia and I have only recently become aware of some discrepancies in information, some lack of information and even some downright prejudicial behavior by some of the other member editors and administrators of Wikipedia. It is the agent provocateur actions of these others that I am trying to overcome by ensuring articles on certain topics are submitted properly, truthfully and in proper context so as not to violate guidelines set down by Wikipedia.

I started an article, my first ever actual article, yesterday. I was attempting to provide a factual, dictionary-like reference on a topic and before I was even close to saving and publishing it, it was deleted by an individual administrator who like you made an assumption without having any facts.

Over the course of the next few days, I will attempt to publish and edit several new articles on Wikipedia, nothing inflammatory, nothing falling outside the guidelines set down by Wikipedia. If interference, harassment and hateful actions of others is not stopped by Wikipedia administrators, I will seek outside assistance from every civil liberties assistance group and agency I can possibly contact. If you or anybody else would like to reasonably discuss this issue, you may contact me through the legitimate e-mail I listed in my Wikipedia signup. -- Biowolf, aka Reverend Joe Castleberry

  • Biowolf, I noticed that you added some comments to the AfD page of Sinagogue of Satan. I originally nominated it for deletion. I would just like to make a couple of things clear. First of which is the fact that the article that the AfD refers to was originally created by Marvin "Knife" Sotelo. This was part of half-a-dozen or so articles that he created that were, as written, non-notable. They also seemed to exist solely to mention him and provide rationale for an article about him. So the AfD debate was about that specific article and there was unanimous agreement that it should be removed. When an article is deleted on Wikipedia, for the most part, unless there is a significant difference in circumstances, it will get a speedy-delete upon its recreation. My recommendation to you would be to recreate the article in accordance with the NPOV guidelines and then add a disclaimer to mods at the top of the talk page explaining why it doesn't fall under the same delete criteria as the original Vote for Deletion. I tend to agree that you have a right to share your ideas even though I disagree with them, hbut I really don't think that this is part of some Wikipedia conspiracy against you. I hope this clears things up a bit. I've added this page to my watchlist and if you have any questions just ask them here and I'll get back to you once I get a chance. Welcome!

[edit]
Hi, Biowolf, Welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page.
