Invitation

[edit]

As there is a Wikipedia article about you, you are cordially invited to contribute a short audio recoding of your spoken voice, so that our readers may know what you sound like and how you pronounce your name. Details of how to do so, and examples, are at Wikipedia:Voice intro project. You can ask for help or clarification on the project talk page, or my talk page. DYK for Dennis Lo

[edit]

The DYK project (nominate) 00:03, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

I hope that Dennis Lo will get a Nobel Prize in the near future for his contribution to the Non-Invasive Prenatal Diagnostics (NIPD) using fetal cell-free circulating DNA in the mother's peripheral blood. This new simple procedure is in mainstream use today and it dramatically reduced the need for risky invasive procedures like cordocentesis, amneocentesis and CVS saving countless lives and paving the way for prenatal medicine. Dr. Lo and his collaborator, Dr Charles Cantor are role models for many scientists. I am very happy that this article was featured on he main page.
