Fails WP:GNG. Not every Texas legislator is inherently notable, nor inherently a subject for a Wikipedia biography of a living person. Perhaps this is list fodder but, in the absence of any response to the 2009 tag requesting citations to reliable sources, enough is enough.

The PROD notice has been taken down by another editor. You can see his rationale in his edit summary and in a converstion of the article's talk page. Once a PROD notice comes down, it cannot be put back up, although the reason asserted for taking it down is, in my view, dubious. Be that as it may, please consider participating in this AfD discussion: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Talmadge_L._Heflin. I imagine you'd want to oppose it. The publisher field only contains the publisher, not all the rest. The correct way is:

Never put anything after the 'ISBN' except for the number. See the difference

IMDb as reference

Billy, IMDb should not generally be used as a source for biographical information. You've done so on many articles such as Rico Alaniz and Ben Cooper. Instead of using the movie site as an inline citation, put it in the External Links section as a complementary reference. Also, it's not necessary to mention every single part they've played in the main text. That's what the Filmography list is for. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to ask. There was a major problem with lack of inlined references before I fixed it yesterday, and now it's back again in the parts you've added. So please don't do that. I'm not sure why an editor of your long history isn't familiar with Wikipedia's guidelines. In the future, when creating questionable content don't advertise your editing at an article like Battle of Okinawa‎ where editors like me will be watching. Hello. I am trying to understand what this picture you took is. Is it a small prison or store that was on the ranch and has been moved to the museum in Lubbock? If so, I'd like to add it to the page I've just created about the Waggoner Ranch. However, I am not sure. Is there a weblink that explains what it is on the website of the museum that you could find? Duplicate pages

Just an FYI that I recently found two duplicate pages you created. A few days ago, you created Ron Reynolds (Texas politician). That's a duplicate of Ron Reynolds (Texas), which has been a page since November 2013. I then found that on December 1 of this year, you created two duplicate pages back-to-back, the only difference being the spelling of the page titles. They were Koni Burton and Konni Burton (I'm not sure what happened here since you created them both on the same day). I appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia but think it would be wise if you did a more thorough search for existing articles before creating new ones. I created the Dec. 12 article Ron Reynolds (Texas politician) but not the short one Ron Reynolds (politician) from November 2013. I did not find the short one when I created the new one. I left a message on the talk page explaining that. The correct spelling is Konni Burton. The first one "Koni" was a typo. I also explained that on the talk page. I do not know how to correct such mistakes. Perhaps you know how to throw out the two that should be dropped. I see that you explained the typo in the article's title (Koni Burton) on the talk page, but no one was going to see that because it was a newly created article. It wasn't on anyone's watch list. If something like this happens in the future, I think you should go to the Wikipedia help page, the village pump, or the talk page of an administrator and explain the situation. Then it can be handled swiftly by someone who knows what to do. As for Ron Reynolds, if you Google "Ron Reynolds Texas," both of our Wikipedia pages on him come up. That tells me that if you'd done that prior to creating your article on him, you would have found that we already have one via a quick Google search. When you're going to create an article in the future, in addition to looking for a pre-existing article on Wikipedia, I'd recommend using a search engine. If you'd looked on this page first (Texas House of Representatives), you also would have seen that Ron Reynolds was already linked to an existing article before you created yours. Duplicate Articles

Please do not create duplicate articles about the same person using different forms of their name, such as Koni Burton and Konni Burton, both of which you created this month. That is not the way that Wikipedia handles name issues. We use Redirects instead. Creating duplicate articles inevitably introduces discrepancies, as different edits are made to different articles. Considerable work is then required to merge the articles. You also created an article Ron Reynolds (Texas politician) that appears to be a copy of Ron Reynolds (Texas). Ron Reynolds (Texas politician) is full article; Ron Reynolds (politician) is or was a short stub. I did not know the stub existed when I created the article. The Konni Burton article was mistakenly put there twice, after "Koni" was mistyped the first time. I could not get the redirect to work for the Burton article. Friendly suggestion

Hi Billy, you are a great article writer, and you've made a lot of great contributions to Wikipedia. However, you need to pay more attention to WP:NPOL criteria, especially the sections about "non-trivial" and "extensive" media coverage. While some subjects make the cut easily (state and federal legislators, for instance), I've had to nominate a number of articles you've created about minor political figures for deletion, and I feel bad about your wasted time on such articles. One suggestion you might want to consider; for articles where the notability of the subject isn't solid, try first submitting a draft to WP:AfC. Douglas was not a sibling of Floyd Culbertson, Jr., but the son by the second marriage. The three brothers were John Grier Culbertson (1905–1977), Roy Culbertson (1911-1996), and James Edward "Jim" Culbertson, whose years of birth and death are not available. Yes, it's likely based upon primary sources, but there are issues in extrapolation of that data, that's why encyclopedia articles look to secondary sources for reliable sources.   • Something else I found: The mother Mary Culbertson (1887-1977) died in Minden in September 1977 four days after the death of oldest son, John Grier Culbertson. He was buried in Tarrant County probably the day before his mother died in Minden. She was interred beside her husband, Floyd, Sr., in Minden. The "Douglas" should be John Grier Culbertson, the oldest son. Floyd, Jr.,'s middle name was Douglas, which was also the first name of his son by the second marriage. The only source I had on Douglas being born in CA is the one I cited from the ancestry.com. The Princeton source (and he was not in law school there but undergraduate school) said he was 25 at the time of his death and told about his being from Tulsa. Find a grave has John G. Culbertson dying on September 15, 1977. His pictured tombstone at Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tarrant County has only 1977. Minden Press-Herald had his mother Mary (1887-1997) dying on September 19, 1977. Billy Hathorn (talk) 00:04, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

I don't believe it is, or I would have caught that then instead of just today because it is unusual. I have noticed that obits often don't mention that other family members have just died too. Wow, that's a lot! This more recent posting - has issue with it as a primary source and states that images of gravestones still need to be published by a reliable secondary source for proper identification / context.
