A tag has been placed on User:Bill Skidd/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thanks Numberguy6! I told a friend Id try to get this posted (he was intimidated by the markup). Anything in particular that stood out as too "advertising"? I wanted to do a good job but will try again toned down a bit more and will reach out to Teahouse too. --I got a response, I think from Teahouse from a user "331dot‬" but it seems he just wanted to bash crypto. :(
This company has been around for years, is written up in Yahoo Finance, Crunchbase, etc (where I got much of the material). They are pioneering the crazy world of crypto and are very successful--the just did a $170 Million branding deal for a soccer team. Not exactly fly-by-night.
How do you write up a very interesting entity without mentioning anything that they have done? 69.123.127.52 (talk) 21:28, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
