RfA
[edit]I highly suggest you do not put your request in RfA namespace, for these reasons -
- 3 edits in mainspace (meaning not user space, user talk space) - most users look for over 2000.
- This edit and this constitute WP:OR, and this is adding a false tag to an article - in other words, none of your edits were constructive.
- You say you are "calm" and "nice" to other users - clearly contradicted by this edit.
- You say as an administrator you will work on slowing sockpuppetry and meatpuppetry, and you will make sure others follow wikipedia rules - I see no evidence that you know how to properly identify sockpuppets, and as for making sure others follow wikipedia policy - your edits do not show a knowledge of policy, rather, a lack of policy knowledge.
- You say that if an editing conflict ensued you would stay away, and blank it if it was on your talk page - as an administrator, you need to solve conflicts, not avoid them.
- It would also appear that you created a page in an act of vandalism
I can 100% guarantee that your RfA will be closed as WP:SNOW the minute it is put on on RfA namespace. This is nothing personal - for all I know, you could one day become a great administrator - just not now.
Please take everything I have said into account. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 23:48, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Re: Hello
[edit]Basically, continue contributing to the encyclopedia in a constructive way. There are a number of things you could do. You could contribute to articles, or participate in other tasks such as AFDs and reverting vandalism, to name a few examples. What I said was not meant against you as a person, I was just trying to save you some grief (RFA is one of the largest sources of wikidrama around). Hope this helps, feel free to ask me any questions - I'll be delighted to help. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:41, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Also, if you are not going to go through with the RfA - let me know so I can have it deleted. (Technically it can be deleted because it was never in the main RfA mainspace). Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:43, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- By coaching, in what areas are you talking about? Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:44, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, when you say "Yes, you may" I do not understand what you are talking about. Are you talking about getting the RfA deleted? Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:46, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- While I am not on 24/7, and cannot admin coach (I am not an admin, just an experienced user), I would be delighted to adopt you. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:47, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- As I said - I am not an admin, just an experienced user (and hence cannot admin coach) - but I can adopt you. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:49, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- To upload an image, use {this button}. Make sure you have the relevant copyright info. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:51, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

In order for an image to be used, it has to be uploaded to wikipedia - if you have the image, and all the copyright info needed for it to be used on wikipedia, you can upload it using the button I gave you above. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:54, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, just ask me if you have any questions. I have to get off for a little while, but I check my talk page frequently - so I should be able to get back to you fairly quickly if you have any questions. Inferno, Lord of Penguins 02:57, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- There has been some objection to my adopting you, unfortunately, and as such I will not be able to adopt you. If you want somebody else to adopt you, please see Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user. That being said, I will still answer questions if you need them answered. Sorry =/ Inferno, Lord of Penguins 22:19, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Chiefy.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Chiefy.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:57, 13 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 05:57, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
