[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Roman salute, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 19:23, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- Here's what's going on. You analyzed a very old text to describe the larger context you think the text holds with regard to the Roman salute. You introduced new ideas; ideas that are not found in the very old text. That's why I warned you about violating the hard policy of WP:No original research. Also, the first time somebody reverts your work, you should go to the article talk page, in this case Talk:Roman salute, and start a new section discussing the changes.
