Tense in plot summaries

[edit]

Hey Big BLA! I reverted your last edit in the Bill Spencer, Jr. because you were converting the plot back into past tense. According to WP:TENSE, fictional plot summaries are supposed to be written in the present tense so as to differentiate them from real world events. Rocksey (talk) 02:32, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said above, plot is supposed to be written in present tense. Rocksey (talk) 04:47, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Newman Enterprises

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Newman Enterprises. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Newman Enterprises. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adam Wilson's name

[edit]

I reverted your most recent change to the Adam Wilson article. This subject is being discussed on the article's talk page here. Maybe you could join the discussion and add your views. Rocksey (talk) 02:36, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a look at Template:Infobox soap character#Relationship parameters. I reverted a lot of your edits that added excessive and repetitive information to multiple character infoboxes. For example, noting "father" and "mother" is unnecessary beside names already next to the heading "parents." I also restored some information that you deleted with no explanation. When removing content, it's a good idea to leave an edit summary explaining why. Rocksey (talk) 09:43, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please familiarize yourself with Template:Infobox soap character#Relationship parameters. Adding useless and redundant clutter is a violation of policy. Thank you. Rm994 (talk) 02:19, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP PLOT

The article Lucas Krebbs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced fictional biography about a 3rd string character on the series Dallas.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hasteur (talk) 15:37, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Will Horton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Black (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to EJ DiMera and Susan Banks did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You cannot edit the Infobox without a source of the information. And we do not include relationships such as "Son" or "Wife", etc. Those go against consensus at WP:SOAPS. Consider this your first and only warning from me. Thank you. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 17:24, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

We don't include "maternal", etc. on soap articles. That violates WP:SOAPS. Please do not do it again. Thank you. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 01:50, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

DiMera family

[edit]

EJ Wells is no longer a DiMera as it was recently found out that he isn't Stefano son, neither biologically nor legally. Therefore, Kristen, Chad and Peter are the only surviving children of Stefano as Kristen and Peter are legally Stefano's adopted children and Chad is his biological son. Therefore, your changes to the contrary are considered to be destructive edits. Until the show changes the story around again, we cannot claim that EJ or his kids as DiMera's. Your edits to the infobox at Vito Corleone

[edit]

Your recent edits to the infobox at Vito Corleone were incorrect, it appears you may have assumed the parameters at Template:Infobox soap character rather than Template:Infobox character, which is used in this article. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Information icon Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Rafael Cruz. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

The Crown

[edit]

Please refrain from changing Philip, Duke of Edinburgh's name to Prince Philip. In the story's timeline, he has renounced his titles, and only has the title Duke of Edinburgh. Once the Queen confers the title Prince of the United Kingdom on him (it happened in 1960, so that should be in the upcoming season), we'll change his name to Prince Philip, but as of now, that's inaccurate. You have to remember that we're talking about 1950s Philip, not 2017 Philip. ----Dr.Margi 19:49, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Western (genre), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Longmire (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 15:50, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Spencer family (The Bold and the Beautiful) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
