Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, BigGcastle! Thank you for your contributions. I am Skamecrazy123 and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Skamecrazy123 (talk) 22:45, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
Welcome to the Teahouse.
[edit]In addition to your plate of cookies and Wikipedia welcome, I also want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Teahouse. I hope all of your questions will be answered. Happy editing. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 22:47, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
Talk page layout.
[edit]I just noticed your message at the top of your talk page :). When you want to respond to someone, you post your reply underneath theirs and indent it with a semi colon. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 04:31, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ohhh, got it, thank you. I have a question. Can people edit other people's user pages? BigGcastle (talk) 04:35, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- Just answered my own question, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:User_pages#Ownership_and_editing_of_user_pages BigGcastle (talk) 04:38, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'll answer anyway ;-). You can leave messages at other users talk pages, but it's frowned upon to edit or remove discussions unless they are serious attacks or vandalism. User pages are generally left alone unless they violate WP:UP#NOT, in which case it's best to leave a message on the users talk page explaining why you have reverted it. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 04:41, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
