Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:2014 Greg McKeown.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hyde Park. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Bibbines77! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Marci Bowers that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Please do not mark a mass pronoun to surname change as a minor edit. Please discuss on the article talk page before doing a similar sort of edit again. Thanks. I didn't know that. Just seemed clearer. Bibbines77 (talk) 12:09, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
