  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Fut.Perf. 17:25, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Theodoros Kolokotronis may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Final warning

[edit]

In this [1] edit, you used three alleged sources to support your claim of an Arberesh background of Napoleon. One of them, to a decidedly unreliable source, only contains a claim of hearsay ("I even came across the suggestion...") of a background half a millennium back. Another contains nothing about Napoleon's background at all, but is talking about one of his nephews, who happened to be a linguist and was doing linguistic research on Albanian.

This is blatantly irresponsible source falsification and as such severely disruptive behaviour. If you ever do anything like this again, I will see to it that you are permanently banned from the whole topic area of Albanian history.

And now you need to stop edit-warring and start discussing your edits. You need to go to talkpages and seek consensus for your edits, once policy-based arguments against them such as poor use of sources have been raised. It is high time you learn to adapt to the behavioural expectations of this project. Fut.Perf. 16:58, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Balkans, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.

Your recent editing history at Muhammad Ali of Egypt shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  — MusikAnimal talk 23:11, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Complaint about your edits at User talk:Future Perfect at Sunrise

[edit]

Please see User talk:Future Perfect at Sunrise#Muhammad Ali of Egypt. I've suggested that you could be indefinitely blocked if you are unwilling to follow Wikipedia policy. In my opinion we don't need new nationalist POV-pushers in the topic area covered by WP:ARBMAC. You seem to be here on Wikipedia with the goal of glorifying Albania and emphasizing the Albanian connections of famous historical figures, sometimes using weak or implausible sources. This is contrary to our plan of creating a neutral encyclopedia. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 01:43, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue to edit like this, trying to turn people into Albanians using such poor sources, you are likely to be blocked again but this time perhaps indefinitely. If you cannot edit Albanian related articles according to our policies and guidelines perhaps you should stay away from them. Dougweller (talk) 13:37, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just to note that I support the indefinite block. Dougweller (talk) 14:03, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinitely blocked

[edit]

After expiry of your 24-hour block, you've continued to make pro-Albanian edits, even warring with others to do so. You have made no response to previous warnings. As suggested in my above warning, I'm indefinitely blocking your account per WP:NOTHERE. It seems you want to change Wikipedia to make it more favorable to Albania and Albanians. This is not consistent with creating a neutral encyclopedia. See WP:GAB for how you can request unblock. Any admin can lift this block if they bcome convinced that you will follow Wikipedia policy in the future. EdJohnston (talk) 13:42, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Biar122, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

[edit]

Hello, Biar122. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
