Domain names
[edit]I reverted your edit because it is evident from your change that you don't appreciate that the internet domain system is much broader than the world wide web. For example, www.example.com
is just one of the many hosts (and, quite possibly, sub-domains) in the domain example.com
. You may have been misled by the clever arrangement whereby, if you type example.com
into a web browser, your request is directed to the primary web serving address for that domain (which itself may be just an internet load-balancing router that allocates the request to one of a number of web servers in the domain).
Please do some more study and be sure of your facts before you contribute; remember to cite your sources when you add or change anything. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 22:14, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Bgeditor12234234: Sorry to be negative but your edits to domain name were incorrect from a technical point of view, but also used incorrect English. Similarly, your edits at Sofia University have basic errors such as changing "Founded on 1 October 1888" to "The University was made opened for studies on 1 October 1888". Please consider editing at another site where you are fluent in the language. Johnuniq (talk) 00:33, 13 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Psychology, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Riverbend21 (talk) 15:12, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Psychology. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Riverbend21 (talk) 15:32, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Psychology, you may be blocked from editing. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:37, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
