Speedy deletion
I noticed that you tagged the page Space_trade for speedy deletion with the reason "Wikipedia is not a crystal ball". However the article points towards other wikipedia articles that are not up for deletion. If you are going to delete this article then should the others be up for deletion aswell?
Speedy deletion
I noticed that you tagged the page Grosvenor pulord hotel for speedy deletion with the reason "advert". However, "advert" is not currently one of our criteria for speedy deletion. However, since the article is a blatant copyright violation from this site without permission, I was able to delete it anyway. Please see WP:CSD for more details of what is and isn't a reason for speedy deletion, and please consider using {{subst:prod|reason}} instead when you wish to delete an article that doesn't meet those narrow criteria. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 09:49, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Just Ben
Yo man, what's yer deal with hatin' on Just Ben? Please reply here. -JustBenCrew
- I'm not hating anything, it just doesn't seem notable. Please see the message I left on your talk page regarding its nomination for deletion. Other editors will discuss whether it should be deleted or not before any decision is made. Matt Eason 10:18, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Copyright Violations
Hello, and welcome to my Talk page! We appreciate your spontaneous form letter, dude, but we cannot contain our mirth as to how something clearly copied word-for-word from a commercial website escapes unharmed, i.e., is ipso facto considered acceptable, whereas a biographical article borrowed from author's official website is instantly replaced with an authoritatian commandment prohibiting me from editing said page, relegating me to "Temp" space until an Administrator descends from the heavens to ascertain the worthiness of any subsequent contributions.
Please refrain from insult my intelligence by claiming to only have deleted my page and not that other one only because you happened to see it and my hyperepistemic comment on the Recent Changes page; as was made abundantly clear by the comment left on my Talk page, its pronoun tenses in particular, you are the digital embodiment of Wikipedia and have full authority over all of its decisions as well as omniscience as to the content of all its pages. I feel humbled just speaking with you.—Preceding unsigned comment added by STGM (talk • contribs)
- Uh, no, I'm not. What gave you that idea? You'll notice I used an (admittedly controversial) technique by utilizing the third person to refer to Daniel Siebert as "the author" in the above post. Trust us, we will refrain from doing that in the futures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by STGM (talk • contribs) --STGM 06:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
Re:Beanie Baby tags
All I did was move all that information over from the Beanie Baby page, since it seemed to be taking up a lot of space and would do better as a seperate article. I do not where the information came from originally though. Splamo 19:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Redirect to pictorial maps
Thank you matt, I have been trying to figure out this redirect thing for awhile. I am such a newbie. But when I did what you said with panoramic maps, it still posted a redirect message as oppposed to the automatic redirect that you did with bird's eye view map. Also since I am defining a few words here should I also redirect singulars and plurals? JLR-mapman 03:38, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks Matt I just figured it out. Ohhh my first page this is exciting!JLR-mapman 03:56, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Persoanl attacks
Excuse me, he called me vandal, i tried to remove grisly scenese of execution, this guy has nothing better to do, so yea, i suggest you correct material, not my words!

Thanks for the heads-up. I got caught in a database lock, but Nihonjoe has taken care of it. Cheers, FreplySpang 10:27, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Deletion of Divine
Why do you want to delete the article on Divine Boards? It is a legitamite article on a forum, and if you would delete it, it would give the idea that you should also delete articles such as NSider and GTF Outsider.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Divineboards.co.nr (talk • contribs).
- Because you've made no indication that it passes WP:WEB, and since you are personally involved with the boards there's a conflict of interest. The fact that similar articles have not been deleted (yet) doesn't mean this one shouldn't be. — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 11:45, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Reverting
Hey man. I noticed you do a good job at reverting valdalism, esp on pages such as Scott Mills. I too try to revert when I can but Ive never found an easy way of giving a detaield revert such as Last version, date, author..etc. I notice some say 'Using popups' or some other meathod. Any advice? Cheers, -Coolmark18 22:35, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks :) I use Navigation popups, which pop up a preview of the article when you hover over a wikilink, or the changes made to the article when you hover over a diff link. You can then revert to the previous version by using the Actions menu within the popup. After I've reverted I usually check the page's history to make sure there weren't multiple vandal edits before I reverted (otherwise I'll just have reverted to another vandalised version). All you need to do to use popups is add {{subst:navpop}} to the bottom of your monobook.js
- Other editors use VandalProof or similar programs, but I've never tried those. — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 10:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Someguy0830...
I have a question to ask you. Your always answering the questions I ask and I want to know, could I block users for calling other people names or deleting things because they don't like them? And how do I block users? --Naruto134 3:18, 31, March 2007 (UTC)
- No, only administrators can block other users from editing. Take a look at WP:NPA#Initial_options for information on how to deal with personal attacks, and WP:3RR for potential violations of the three-revert rule (which is intended to prevent edit warring) — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 23:57, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- There is this user called Someguy0830 following me arond wikipedia redirecting my stuff that is the truth and I gave proof for. He said he'd revert anything anyone puts, even if it is true. How can I report a problem like this? --Naruto134 11:38, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- Don't misstate what I wrote. I said I'd revert anyone who added the same thing as you, which was speculation. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- See? This is exactly what I'm talking about! This guy would not stop following me around!

"If someone else writes that, I'll revert them just like I reverted you. I do not care who's doing it. Forgive the bluntness, but you can bitch and spew obscenities all you like. The fact remains that you are still in the wrong, and it will remain that way until the episode airs".

- To be honest I think you both need to calm down and clearly and calmly explain your positions to each other without resorting to any kind of personal attack or emotive language. The whole thing's been blown way out of proportion, by both of you. — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 23:18, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Someguy will still not stop following me! He got rid of a talk page because he didn't like it and he insulted me. How can I contact wikipedia about a personal attack. Someguy, if your reading this, but out! I'm not asking you!--Naruto134 4:49, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- When your continued complaints concern me, I see no reason to but out. This is a person attack and was removed for that reason]. I may not have been nice in doing it, but my patience in this matter has been exhausted. Since you insist on continuing your crusade against me, expect input from me. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 00:10, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

the yateley forums
I want to re-add the yateley forums to the Yateley page again. Where can I discuss it with people other than you? I have seen countless forums on the bottom of wikipedia links so I think we have a right to be included on our home towns page without being removed by you each time. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Timjbart (talk • contribs) 22:44:44, August 19, 2007 (UTC).
- Wikipedia talk:External links is probably the place to go. Please note that WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS sort of applies in this situation, if you mentally replace 'article' with 'link'. — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 01:33, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Pocerina
A tag has been placed on Pocerina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. flaminglawyerc 16:55, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Football shirts
Hey there
You were good enough to answer my question on where to find templates for rugby kits. Now I am USELESS at these things and I am struggling to understand even the instructions on how to make one! Any further advice? I just don't get it!!! Do you know anyone who could put a shirt together for me? It's for the Suttonians RFC page. I took a shirt with the same style from another page but dont know how to edit the colours. The Suttonians shirt is green, white and royal blue hoops, with arms the same colour hoops. Navy shorts. Royal blue socks with a green and white stripe turnover.
Apprciate any help you can give me!

- Is this the current kit? I'm not sure it can be done with the images that are currently available for the template, but I'll take a proper look tonight. If all else fails I'll create new images with the right colours. — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 10:06, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
nah, that's the old one. its the one in the photo here [1]
should be a bit easier - no collar etc. anyway. thanks for any help you can give.

Speedy deletion
You tagged Captured (band) for speedy deletion, I just thought I'd explain my actions. I'm still in the process of creating that particular entry. Once completed it will include a discography and band history complete with pictures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iantranter (talk • contribs) 10:47, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Fine, but please keep WP:BAND in mind. It wasn't tagged because of a lack of history, discography etc; it was because there was no assertion of notability. Please make sure they meet the guidelines at WP:BAND before you create the article. — Matt Eason (Talk • Contribs) 12:03, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
