The article Gianfranco Chiarini has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fluff piece. Provides no real sources to establish notability. Article was created on es.wp, id.wp and ro.wp with the same content and the editor always posted a note claiming The article was wrote by blah blah with the assistance of Chef Chiarini, provides no external neutral references regarding the subject of the article. As goes for the external links, the YouTube videos were uploaded by the subject and the other ones provide no valid characterization of the chef.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rebel (talk) 04:37, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Deletion of Gianfranco Chiarini
[edit]Hi,
Regarding the Wikipedia Page http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Gianfranco_Chiarini, I am concerned that this page is marked for speedy deletion as you may believe this page is a solicitation or advertisment. However, this page is an actual biography of Chef Gianfranco and his life. If there is context that needs to be removed to avoid deletion, please contact me at your earliest convenience so that it might be corrected.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience.
Best Regards, Beverly Wehmer Johnson (talk) 19:53, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

[edit]We do infact have verifiable sources; however as I stated previously I need assistance on how to add these references to the article. Please supply the correct HTML codes for adding the references. Also the spam "This Article was written...." has been deleted from all articles.

- Does "We" [and "us" below in another section] refer to yourself and Andrea D'Angelico (talk · contribs)? Others? – Athaenara ✉ 16:47, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry I don't know who Andrea is...when I state "We" I mean my team or writers, magazine articles, interviews with the Chef, newspaper articles and other verifiable resources.
- Thanks!

- Yes? So have you read the current revised article...there is nothing that is indicative of promotional or an advertisment. We have removed everything that you have considered "fluff", and written a biography.

- I should be the only one using Bevwb1220...to my knowledge no one has my login or password. The article was written, and then uploaded by me to Wikipedia. Why do you ask??

- Hi Athaenara the Gianfranco Chiarni page has been re-written to Wikipedia standards, can you please review so that we can take the advert down? Thanks!
Beverly Wehmer Johnson (talk) 17:49, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Per user Anthaenara, Gianfranco Chiarini'a Wikipedia article is written with bias and as a promotional. However, the article has been written and re-written several times utlizing references to source the statements. This discussion has been posted so that the article may be read, and so that contributors may make editing suggestions. In the event, we cannot resolve this matter we will seek further advice from the Wikipedia Neutral Point of View Notice Board

Speedy deletion nomination of The New Renaissance of Italian Fusion Cuisine 1.0
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The New Renaissance of Italian Fusion Cuisine 1.0, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Staffwaterboy Critique Me 17:35, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at The New Renaissance of Italian Fusion Cuisine 1.0
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from The New Renaissance of Italian Fusion Cuisine 1.0, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:42, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with The New Renaissance of Italian Fusion Cuisine 1.0. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:44, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with The New Renaissance of Italian Fusion Cuisine 1.0. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Athaenara, please allow me to inquire why you believe this article is an advertisement? This is written in biography style, and is complies with the Wikipedia guidelines. There have been several changes to the page in the past couple of days, removing and rewriting certain text to comply with the Wiki guidelines. Furthermore, I have read Emeril Lagasse's page, Mario Batalli's page, Giada De Laurentis' page and they are all in the same style as what I have written. With that being said, please direct me to the correct passages where you believe there are solicitations or advertisements. I have forwarded this talk over to the complaint department at Wikipedia as well. Oh, and I have concerns about your putting up the alerts but not assiting with the rewrite or what passages are considered as advertisments.
Regarding your articles, I have noticed that your articles seem to be biased and advertisments as well.
Thank you for your time, and assistance with this matter. Look forward to hearing from you.

[edit]Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Gianfranco Chiarini without resolving the problem that the {{advert}} template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. – Athaenara ✉ 12:44, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Gianfranco Chiarini, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. – Athaenara ✉ 12:47, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Italian Executive Chef Gianfranco Chiarini.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Italian Executive Chef Gianfranco Chiarini.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MorganKevinJ(talk) 22:48, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Picture 2-1-.png
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Picture 2-1-.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 00:45, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
