Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022–23 NBA season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Luke Kennard. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

NBA player statistics

[edit]

Do not combine years in "Career statistics" section like here, because there is no consensus for that. – sbaio 15:00, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My bad, I thought connecting them through rowspan had a cleaner look to it. Bernietek4 (talk) 02:21, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bagumba. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Michael Jordan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Assuming it's verifiable, consider establishing consensus at WT:NBA for marking these types of all-time playoff year records, and if it's meaningful based on some minimum number of games.Bagumba (talk) 22:23, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Domantas Sabonis, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in NBA Most Valuable Player Award, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically, not everyone is familiar with those abbreviations, and it's a featured list. An alternative is to add a legend.Bagumba (talk) 01:42, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As a reference, see a list like List of longest NBA field goals, where secondary sources are cited that mention the grouping. It's not just a duplication of a stats database lookup. Regards. —Bagumba (talk) 08:42, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NBA playoff leaders

[edit]

Hi there. Apologies, but I disagree with those additions to the stats tables, and reverted them. There was no previous consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Basketball Association/Archive 22 § Playoff stats leaders for a given year Perhaps you missed it, but I also alluded to it previously at #April 2023 (above). Feel free to discuss at WT:NBA, if you feel strongly still.—Bagumba (talk) 10:17, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NBA and basketball stats

[edit]

Hello @Bernietek4. I've noticed that you add substantially to NBA-related articles, with an emphasis on stats. I'm reaching out because I've made a few lists of articles needing relevant work. One of my main priorities on Wikipedia, at present, is to give all of English Wikipedia's NBA player pages their stat tables. In pursuit of such, I have assembled a list of NBA player articles without stat tables. The list currently details all the NBA player pages needing stats. I also have the following likewise lists for:

Therefore, these lists are resources here for you, in case you want to use them. I try to keep these lists as up to date as I can, and contribute regularly. Any feedback or contributions here are welcome. Thanks. Mungo Kitsch (talk) 20:46, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like something that I'd love to passively work on. Thanks for reaching out! Bernietek4 (talk) 16:02, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that you seem to be very active in updating NBA career leader list links in See also sections. I also notice that it seems no one has much of an interest in making sure NBA annual leader list are included in see also sections (based solely on observations with List of NBA annual free throw percentage leaders and List of NBA annual 3-point scoring leaders). Would you have any interest in also looking into this further.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 11:32, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
