ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Damola Ayegbayo

[edit]

Hi @Bernice2019: I think Damola Ayegbayo will have an article on here eventually. If any of paintings end up in notable museums or make it into an international exhibition which is recognised as such, then that would indicative that he is notable. His work of such stellar quality, that its only matter of time before he has an article. scope_creepTalk 23:40, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

scope_creep#top I really appreciate your reaching out, but what you just highlighted that if his works happen to be in a notable Museum or international exhibition then he is notable, Kindly see Vanguard (Nigeria) is a credible and reliable source [1], he has his work in The Museum of Modern Art and Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art. Wanted to provide this source before it was deleted.Bernice2019 (talk) 18:24, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Bernice2019: That is a excellent start. I'm trying to search for more refs. scope_creepTalk 22:29, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

scope_creep Kindly see this also [2][3][4][5][6]. He is notable but didn't provide all these source initially part of the reason I made it a stub so anyone can improve on it , I guess that why you norminated it. Fela Akinse moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Fela Akinse, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Jamiebuba (talk) 14:51, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Damola Ayegbayo (Artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2A01:4C8:B3:B050:ECE4:8F4:E646:A246 (talk) 23:53, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
