Thanks for the friendly welcome. Usually, I am active in the German Wikipedia, so I kind of know my way around. Cheers, --Bernardoni (talk) 21:22, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

[edit]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Chesley Sullenberger. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Terrakyte (talk)

Sorry but I don't get your point. I have cited the website Lorrie Sullenberger runs. Look it up and you'll see her photo and her name. I can't think of a source that's more reliable than her own website. --Bernardoni (talk) 22:49, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, such a website is one of the most unreliable. Many people who create websites about themselves tend to present information in a way that makes them look the best, downplay faults e.t.c. The best websites, as per Wikipedia:Reliable Sources, are ones that are independent of the subject of an article. As WP:RS says, "Articles should be based on reliable, third-party (emphasize by me), published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy." Terrakyte (talk) 22:55, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wie edit

[edit]

Hello. I noticed you posted a comment on the Michelle Wie talk page. I want to streamline the article as well so it doesn't talk in detail about every event she has played in. I was wandering was your comment resolved because someone claimed that the issue you raised was resolved, but by reading the article it doesn't look like it to me. If you don't think it was resolved can you make some suggestions on the talk page as to how to resolve it, and what things should be deleted. ThanksMATThematical (talk) 22:28, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not add, as you did without citing a reliable source. It is not a big deal to put a reliable source with your contribution.Egeymi (talk) 16:54, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message. Generally, I do add sources. However, in this case I had linked my information with the film article where readers can look it up. But of course it's useful to be able to go to the outside source itself. --Bernardoni (talk) 16:58, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the message. Egeymi (talk) 17:25, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Takanoyama

[edit]

Thanks for putting the diacritics in Takanoyama's name in a number of places. I am quite surprised this was missed up until now. FourTildes (talk) 10:31, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your work on this great sport! --Bernardoni (talk) 12:40, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Arina Rodionova

[edit]

I did not vandalize "Arina Rodionova", because it has been confirmed by multiple people that she is currently dating Tyrone Vickery. Please stop harassing me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prosenjiit (talkcontribs) 01:03, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have not said that you vandalized the article. However, this is unsourced information as long as you can't quote any media (website of a newspaper or journal) on it. Apart from that, I reiterate that in my opinion it is irrelevant whom a professional athlete is dating at the moment. This is tabloid stuff that doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. Also, please sign your edits. --Bernardoni (talk) 14:38, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Per Wikipedia policies such as WP:BLP, WP:RS and WP:V, "multiple people" are not sufficient references, and "current" dating news is often too trivial and volatile for an article (WP:DATED, WP:UNDUE) Dl2000 (talk) 18:21, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Prosenjiit was temporarily blocked after several warnings including yours. To help address any future such issues, you can review WP:UTM and review available noticeboards such as WP:AIV and WP:ANI. Hope this helps. Dl2000 (talk) 04:36, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gagamaru update

[edit]

Thank you for your update to Gaga's bio. There is a lot less manpower here than there was. If in the future, you update another sumo bio could you also change update date in the infobox? This way it is easier to see how recently information has been updated, inside or outside the infobox. I did it for you this time. Thanks again. ~ ~ ~ ~ (talk) 02:56, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thank you for the reminder! --Bernardoni (talk) 11:51, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sepp Angerer

[edit]

I had no idea that book existed. Do you own it? Do you read German? It would be great to have a picture of him and better biographical details. Philafrenzy (talk) 22:49, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Phila, no, I don't own the book, I just found it while googling "Josef Angerer" because (see my not on the talk page) I was not sure about the lemma. I am German myself. --Bernardoni (talk) 22:58, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately there is no preview on either Amazon or Google so we will have to wait. I could buy it but I do that too often so I won't. Thanks for spotting it. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:05, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mollie Katzen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mark Morris. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
