Discussing changes to articles

[edit]

Hi, and welcome again. It looks you are new here, so I will explain a few things, referring to your edit summary of this restore:

The idea (see wp:talk page guidelines) is that we discuss such things on the article talk page, not on our user talk pages, which are more suited for discussions about user conduct and such - like this. I had put a message on the article talk page about removing the section (See Talk:Twin paradox#Propose to remove section), awaiting comments. As, given a few days, nobody had objected, I went ahead, with another message on the talk page, inviting other contributors to discuss re-insertion on before doing so. That is how we are supposed to do things - see wp:BRD.

Anyway, I have now put another message on the article talk page with a proposition that might please you. Let's discuss overthere. But before you do that, please have a look at our core policies about wp:verifiability and wp:original research. Cheers - DVdm (talk) 10:45, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, when you edit talk pages, please don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~). That way your signature and a date/time stamp is automatically appended to the message. Thanks - DVdm (talk) 14:35, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
