Speedy deletion declined: Too Cool to Care
Hello Bentogoa. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Too Cool to Care, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Criterion A3 explictly states that "redirects are not eligible for this criterion". Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 16:48, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:05, 3 April 2011 (UTC) Hi Ben. Hi. I've declined your speedy request as the article isn't 'nonsense' in the CSD sense. That's for stuff like 'dttryuvbuyfg ygyuyu' and totally incomprehensible gibberish. This is badly written, but can be understood. I'm going to check if it's any use, or already in somewhere else. By the way, nice catch on Harry arlington. Peridon (talk) 12:29, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged revisions, underwent a two-month trial which ended on 15 August 2010. Its continued use is still being discussed by the community, you are free to participate in such discussions. Many articles still have pending changes protection applied, however, and the ability to review pending changes continues to be of use.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under level 1 pending changes and edits made by non-reviewers to level 2 pending changes protected articles (usually high traffic articles). Pending changes was applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't grant you status nor change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.
If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Dabomb87 (talk) 21:43, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Deinonychus (album)
Hello Bentogoa. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Deinonychus (album), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: criterion A7 doesn't apply as this is an article about an album and not the band; A9 doesn't apply either, as the band has an article. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 11:29, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Insomnia (Deinonychus album)
Hello Bentogoa. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Insomnia (Deinonychus album), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to music; and Deinonychus (band) have an article, so A9 does not apply either. May well fail WP:NALBUMS, but you'll have to consider AFD or PROD. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 12:07, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
speedy delete declined
I am declining speedy delete for Onetravel because for the spam speedy delete it has to be pure promotion that cannot be edited to make it an article. The same applies for Original Pub Company. Do not nominate articles like this for speedy deletion when they are not a pure spam. I would suggest that you read carefully the reasons for speedy delete at WP:CSD. Our mission here is to build an encyclopedia, not delete all the inadequate new stuff. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:14, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

I searched the name Elvis Stojko in all the refs could not find it. Bentogoa (talk) 17:45, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- Then you didn't look hard enough. Watch the (entire) credits, his name is included (specifically as choreographing and skating as Robin Williams, presumably during the final scene). 72.37.244.28 (talk) 17:48, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
I Don't have that movie to Watch it. Bentogoa (talk) 10:43, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Comparison of webmail providers
Hi, Why did you undo my changes to Comparison_of_webmail_providers? Only because I was to stupid to add a description of the added info, as always?
I find it's a crucial information, that there are much more powerfull paid versions - but after reading about the managerial structure of wiki on SPON I should't even care about doing anything anymore.

Deleting school articles
Hi, the practice here is that school articles are not subject to A7 speedy deletion. High school articles almost always will survive an AFD. Also you used db-web, this template applies to web content. You may wish to read WP:CSD to learn about speedy deleting. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:04, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Revert
Thank you for monitoring wikipedia edits for vandalism and such. I just wanted to question your reverting my edit here. The title you reverted it back to is very generic and does not do a very good job of summarizing the content in the article. I realize that you are reverting a large number of unproductive edits, but I would appreciate it if you would either self-revert that or participate in the discussion regarding it on the talk page. BelloWello (talk) 21:29, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Because you change section heading to "Masturbation based scandal in the early 1980's", I mostly lookout for such words Bentogoa (talk) 21:34, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
True, but, surprisingly, that is exactly what it was. The controversy started, if you read the article, when a faculty member made comments regarding masturbation, hence I think it is best to describe what happened in the title. If you disagree, I would appreciate if you would explain your logic on the talk page, otherwise, if you would kindly revert... BelloWello (talk) 21:36, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Have done that. Bentogoa (talk) 21:42, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Your "cleanup" at Euler's pump and turbine equation changed to page number "page = 4-229" to an incorrect page range "pages = 4–229". I'm trying to get him
I'm trying to get him to stay out of trouble but hes not so thats why i'm trying to keep him from being suspended by Wikipedia which means the account is deleted and he needs to stop it or his account can be disabled by MediaWiki and if hes suspended from the whole entire MediaWiki site including here and other sites, he can't log in to the site and he will not be allowed to create accounts permanetly. Thats why he needs to stop vandalizing the pictures because they are small size and they are fair use so he needs to stop vandalizing the tags so that he doesn't get in trouble and suspended. But it seems to me Skier Dude2 needs to be blocked from editing for good so he can stop it and he will have to find another site to contribute there so he can't mark whatever for deletion so he needs to be delt with anyways so you need to report Skier Dude2 to Wikipedia so Wikipedia can take action about that.--HappyLogolover2011 (talk) 18:51, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
I dont know anything about Skier Dude2 or Skier Dude, If he is going against Wikipedia policies you can solve it at the reverent Noticeboard.

Regarding removal content "2G spectrum..." from article "Subrata Roy"
Since the concerned matter is sub-judice, i.e. pending before court of law, any vexatious or biased comment or accusation causing damage to the image and reputation of an individual in lieu of any court verdict against the said individual, amounts to a criminal offence of Defamation under section 499 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. All persons who draft, publish, or aid and assist in drafting or publishing any such defamatory content are liable to be prosecuted in the court of law.

Speedy deletion nomination
I see that you nominated Gold sol for speedy deletion as vandalism. The article is lacking in various ways, but the information in it is correct. I don't know how much checking you did before deciding that it was vandalism, but you should be very careful using Huggle, and not mark something as vandalism unless you are sure that it is. Sorry
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to John Wayne has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. I do not see the attack on this page, it was just a redirect. Is the name itself in someway an attack in a foreign language? Gaijin42 (talk) 19:51, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
Yes, the page was re-direct to Sonia Gandhi , I could not think of other CSD for it.
: But in what way is that an attack? Gaijin42 (talk) 19:55, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
- gandu Hindi word for arsehole.
- Ah. I see. Then the CSD likely does apply. I removed it but will put it back. Gaijin42 (talk) 20:02, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

George Grant article
I have repeatedly reported the abusive vandalizing of the article "George Grant" by user EducationResource. He or she continually inserts false and/or irrelevant editorial comments based on a particular ideological perspective and/or personal antagonism. Please do something to stop this abuse before restoring the article. It would be better to have no article at all than to have a false and/or antagonistic one posted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mniearl (talk • contribs) 03:10, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest
Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

Joseph M. Papp
My understanding is that Joseph M. Papp has been forced to take legal action against cyclngnews.com and their publisher, Future Publishing - or at least formally threaten it - over the repeated dissemination of defamatory, libelous claims through their website this weeks - so the wikipedia page for him may be subject to more vandalism that I will attempt to thwart as well, to allow only for the editing of the article with sourced, factual material. Fireball (liqueur)
Hello!
We are the brand owners of Fireball - which is NOT a liqueur, but a cinnamon-flavored Canadian whisky. While we would actually prefer to have the "Fireball (liqueur)" page removed altogether, that does not appear to be possible, which is why we simply replaced the copy with "See Fireball Cinnamon Whisky." The information contained on the "Fireball (liqueur)" page was not accurate; the information on the new Fireball Cinnamon Whisky page is. Please RETURN the copy "See Fireball Cinnamon Whisky" to the "Fireball (liqueur)" page. Many thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ccharters (talk • contribs) 17:21, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Yeah. I also have a 20 Rupees note in front of me :). Now Observe carefully with the image given by me. The beach in the note is a Crescent shaped beach unlike the picture you given. There is also a small land formation into the sea which is also clearly visible in the picture I given. Also the source you given is not credible. 117.216.25.236 (talk) 06:11, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Why is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled on the list of games notable for negative reception
It's clear just by looking at the section the person had very little idea what s/he where doing. Even in what s/he posted on the site says that the game received mixed reviews. Just look at the scores posted with the entry, IGN 5.9/10, GameZone 7/10, Metacritic 55/100 (PS3) 60/100 (X360). Does any of this sound like a game notable for negative reception. And just so everyone is clear, I have never play this game, I have no attachment to it, the only reason I want it off is because it doesn't belong hear.

Radicality
Despite how my email address appears, I am actually against notability requirements on wikipedia. Lots of space is here for advertizing, although you may find it hard to link it up inside of wikipedia. If you would volunteer to flesh out out a fictional biography, then I can help you rewrite your article, here, on your talk page, or on a user page / that you create. It would help me to decide whether I really want to do that, if you were to either contribute with expansion, or undo your own reversion. In keeping with Jimmy Wale's principle that anyone can edit wikipedia, I do not like bias against IP#s. 75.156.178.30 (talk) 12:08, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Davey Richards
Hey I just saw your message and the information that I added was correct. I'm new to this so I didn't know how to add my sources. All of that information came from Davey's DVD's (The Kevin Steen Show with Davey Richards, Versus Series Davey Richards & Kevin Steen and Davey Richards Hunt For Glory. So its from his own ommission. If you want to watch those dvds they are availible at highspots.co.uk or highspots.com depending where you live. The mention of Brutus also came from a converstion I had with Davey's fiance on twitter.
Finally as he says on the Kevin Steen Show he is a fully trained firefighter now and actually works for the fire department in St Louis when he's not wrestling for TNA. He also said that he actually had to qualify as an EMT first before being allowed to go through training as a firefighter.
That's all I wanted to say...so if you want to update this page with that information then feel free to do so if not its your decision. I always make sure my information is correct before I edit. Have a nice day

Declined speedy
I've declined the speedy for Umbrella Man (Occupy Central Movement, Hong Kong) as there is an assertion of notability for this (it's been specifically mentioned in the news) and as such doesn't qualify for a speedy deletion. However that said, I'd probably recommend proposing merging this into the main article and redirecting there. There is quite a bit of coverage out there, but it's predominantly about the protest and at this point, it's just slightly premature to have an article. I don't think that we'd really benefit from deleting the article altogether since there is the potential for it to receive enough coverage to merit an article separate from the main protest one, so a merge proposal would be my recommendation for the next course of action. Please do remember to click the 'mark this page as patrolled' link at the bottom of the new page if you have performed the standard patrolling tasks. Justin Vivian Bond revert looks irresponsible
Hi, Bentogoa. Your sweeping reversions (-713?) to an article I've been working on for a couple weeks look like edit warring to me. I don't understand your motivations because you never contacted me or made an effort to explain yourself, although you had plenty of time. You also reverted some edits I had made only a few seconds before, which raises the question of how much thought you put into all this, how familiar with the secondary sources, how knowledgeable on the life of this person and transgender issues in general and the points raised on the talk page? I checked and you do not belong to either of the wiki groups interested in this article. Not knowing your motivations, your actions appear irresponsible and destructive of the wiki community, not to mention this particular article. If you are going to be careless and thoughtless in your actions then you are going to cause harm. Certainly, my feelings were hurt by your actions. The guidelines state that reversion exists to undo vandalism and should be used only when edits are clearly damaging to an article and no element of the edit is an improvement, in order to avoid driving editors away from wikipedia. This clearly was not the case with my edits, which I was not even allowed to complete. A lot remains to be done to bring this article up to date, and I would like to continue working on it with other editors of good will. Since you advise that we are free to revert any edits of yours, I will do so in this case unless I hear back from you, and I hope that in the future you will extend me the same courtesy and think twice before acting recklessly. Hello, you asked me about the reason for my removal of content about the Yellow badge without explanation with this edit. I didn't remove the content without explanation. However, my explanation seems not to have been fully complete or saved properly.
The reason for the removal was that the Yellow badge article is specifically about Jews being forced to wear the Yellow badge. The article is even part of a series on antisemitism. As a result, I fail to see the relevance of an article about Jews being forced to wear yellow badges to Hindus being forced to wear it during the Taliban rule of Afghanistan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enigmie (talk • contribs) 18:04, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I just noticed your revert of my edits to this page. I am, quite frankly, removing tons of crap from this whole series of articles, and will probably merge them afterwards. I agree with you that the New York Post is an acceptable source for the one incident it was being used to support, and so is Newsday. However, I've had a lot of trouble verifying the existence of articles by those news sources cited in our articles. Both seem to have moved things around multiple times on their websites since the original URLs were added here. I have no issue - none - with properly supported material in the articles I'm editing at the moment. However, because I'm having to remove so much unacceptable material, I really need a source that is verifiable. At present, I can't verify bare URL citations to the NY Post or Newsday. If you can find those articles, or another proper source, I'd absolutely be in favor of returning that one item to the article. 209.211.131.181 (talk) 18:22, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

I am born and brought up in Kottarakara, still living there and I know each and every corner of it. There were/are several notable persons in Kottarakara, some of them are listed on Wikipedia page but someone edited it and simply added their own names/family names too beneath. When I removed it, some of them re-entered their family story and changed the heading from Notable persons to Notable Areas (?). When that also removed, some came with some new families. That I have removed today. Any inconvenience regretted.
- I did not revert because of that, you had also removed the References list. Bentogoa (talk) 12:16, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
Mark as patrolled
Hi!
When you tag a newly created page for speedy deletion, could you also mark it as patrolled? If you leave it unmarked, other New Page patrollers have to spend time patrolling it. Kolbasz (talk) 14:29, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- I use Huggle or Tw to tag, it should automatically mark it patrolled Bentogoa (talk) 14:31, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- Maybe they should, but it's not happening here. See for example Young League Pakistan, which is still not marked as patrolled. Cheers. Kolbasz (talk) 14:35, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- I tagged that one using huggle Bentogoa (talk) 14:36, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- That may be the case, but the pages are still not being marked as patrolled. So please take the time to click the "Mark this page as patrolled" link manually. Kolbasz (talk) 22:57, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

Don't know why you removed Seri's Star Kitchen with U-Kiss (세리의 스타키친) [a show that was on KBS in 2012] from the list of Shows they have done, when they did appear on the show for 10 episodes. Kevin Eli and AJ were the main guests and all of U-Kiss appeared on the show for 2 episodes while filming their music video Forbidden Love. To say that their appearance on the show is not relevant to the page is in correct as it is relevant in that it concerns them and a show they did! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Somberofsilence (talk • contribs) 15:43, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Considering the fact that Pearl's legal name is now Pearl, and she came out as a trans woman and has been medically transitioned for quite some time now, I think it's extremely constructive to put correct information up on the website. http://craigjparker.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/note-from-porl.html

Though you have flagged it and I have repeatedly removed their comments, they continue to add them again. is there any way to stop this?

Autopatrolled
Hi Bentogoa, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled right to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Gilliam (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2015 (UTC) – Gilliam (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Huggle message
Hey bentogoa! You are receiving this message because you are subscribed at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Huggle/Members#Beta_testers
I have recently launched a new downloads for beta testers that contains nightly builds of huggle, eg. versions that are built every day from our master branch and contains latest huggle. These builds are currently provided only for Windows and Ubuntu. You can find them here: http://huggle.wmflabs.org/builds/
Please keep in mind that these don't have any automatic updates and if you download and start using nightly build, you will need to update it yourself! So don't get yourself to running old version, it's possible to install both stable and nightly huggle, which is what I suggest.
Keep the bug reports coming to phabricator: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/task/create/?projects=Huggle Many thanks! Petrb (talk) 09:54, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Recaptcha Security
Bentogoa I was the guy that made a new introduction about McRaptil when he bypassed the ReCAPTCHA, At that time I was a member of crackingforum.com and when he did it all the guys were saying that it was impossible and fake, so he gave us image proofs and even with that images they accused and called him of been a PaintMaster, fake, noob etc...
And that´s when he did the impossible, in a Skype video conference with me included and he did it in real time, using an advanced brute-force tool named Sentry he made his own OCR configurations to ReCAPTCHA which he said that with just one word and other a proximity of the real one, it works... He did it in the Depositfiles website at the time which just after a while he had hits of real accounts been brute-forced after he bypassed the ReCAPTCHA... And to confirm even more after 3 days the ReCaptcha from Google has changed to some images..
It was a few years ago but even now if you go to, for example, Crackingforum.com or Freebie-Nation.org or others, I bet that still are some guys that will confirm all of this because they had seen it too... Just a few guys had the configuration made by McRaptil, most of them are Masters in security, but a lot of other guys knew it too because he was the first guy doing it and it was Amazing and Incredible has you could imagine....
At the time he said he sent an email to google explaining it and they never even gave him a response, they just acted like nothing happened and close their mouths about it.
That´s why I didn´t know what to put in references but I am sure that you could find it and increment this valuable information at your own and with your own writing ability..
I liked very much to read you´re ReCAPTCHA article even without this information...
Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.22.18.40 (talk) 12:09, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Race and crime in the United Kingdom -
Dear Sir or Madam,
Regarding edits I recently made to this page, which is clearly unbalanced towards a certain racist anti-black viewpoint, why will you not allow changes?
Wikipedia clearly states:
'This article may be unbalanced towards certain viewpoints. Please improve the article by adding information on neglected viewpoints, or discuss the issue on the talk page. (November 2010)'.
I look forward to your reply.

- changing all the words from "Black" to "white" will not do that Bentogoa (talk) 06:29, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
This article makes it seems as though the only people who commit crime in the UK are black, whereas official statistics, of which this page has many incorrectly stated, clearly show the majority of crime committed in the UK is committed by white people. Since this is the case, please delete this page which is a clear attempt at defamation of the Black British community, and as such makes it liable to legal action under the UK Race Relations Act: http://www.cps.gov.uk/publications/prosecution/rrpbcrbook.html#a07. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.35.144.167 (talk) 06:43, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Hancock edit
I believe you made a mistake to undo my edit. I very recently watched the movie, I also watched the movie for reference to the edit. Calling Hancock a "psycho" makes no sense, but calling him an "asshole" does, because throughout the film it is shown that it is his trigger word. Also, he doesn't smile at the police, he turns around from the police and smiles at the criminal because he is planning on beating him up.

Urgent help needed on the article Kumhar
Respected User, A huge traffic of i.p. users is continuously tempering with the sourced contents of the page. Their intention is merely caste promotion to which they actually belong, and it can be well verified by their conversation on the talk page of this article. They are continuously adding the self opinion based, unsourced contents removing the sourced contents. The article is continuously being de-shaped. Immediate attention and needful action is needed to protect the page. Who can understand better than you that it takes a lot of efforts to build a fully sourced article and it is not good when it becomes victim of disruptive editing just for the sake of advertising or promoting caste based ideas. I am making changes to the original English version by adding new quotations /citations. It would appear that these are automatically being translated and put on your (Spanish?) version. Please do not delete them but add them to your version as YOUR deletion has cancelled the new edits on MY version. I will try and revert to the original version. Thank you Peter DC (talk) 15:33, 15 March 2015 (UTC)

Stephen Clarke (writer ) edit
Hello
That was the first time I have edited anything on Wikipaedia and, although I read through a number of "Help" or "what to do "pages, was/am not aware of protocol.
I looked up this author as , having read a couple of his books, I was curious. When I saw the heading on his page that said the current information read like a press-release, I thought it would be acceptable to replace hyperbole such as "ground-breaking" with more accurate "trite and derivative".
Are there any pages that show what you expect from reviews ? Now I have , hopefully, explained my reasoning, will my review be re-inseted
Thanks in advance10:25, 27 March 2015 (UTC)10:25, 27 March 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by DRichardHale (talk • contribs)

If you have a problem with something please indicate where the problem is. Refrain from writing mails such as above because you don't understand something. What exactly is your problem?
On this page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Energy#Quantum_mechanics

Potential admin
Hi, I notice you're on Wikipedia:List of administrator hopefuls. Wikipedia would benefit from more admins. If you have been editing for more than 12 months (preferably 24+ months), and have been editing fairly consistently for the past 6 months (preferably 12+ months) with at least 100 edits a month (this tool will help) - or an explanation for any gaps, and haven't been blocked in the past three years - or a good explanation for a recent block, don't have a recent history of edit warring or arguing with other editors, feel you can explain why you wish to be an admin, can demonstrate some understanding of Wikipedia's procedures and processes, or know where to go for guidance, and are confident enough to go through a RfA, please get in touch with me. We can talk about it some more, and if all looks OK, I'll nominate you. SilkTork ✔Tea time 09:20, 31 August 2015 (UTC)

Elnu Abenaki Tribe
Hi there, although I agree that Elnu Abenaki Tribe is likely a candidate for speedy deletion, I did want to draw to your attention that tagging an article only a couple minutes after creation is a bit bitey and doesn't really assume good faith. This, of course, doesn't apply to things like adverts or attack pages, but generally giving a new user 10+ minutes is a good rule of thumb. --Non-Dropframe talk 14:02, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

Why did you revert my alphabetizing of the list? You had less than a minute to check it out. This was not vandalism. Titles that begin with "A" and "The" don't count those words. So "A League of Their Own" is alphabetized under "L" not "A". And symbols and numbers go before letters. Also, in Drama series there were two sequences of alphabetized shows. I merged them. I have undone your revert. Please actually read it before automatically changing it. 76.254.23.101 (talk) 18:14, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
Tagging of Brynn hemphill
I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Brynn hemphill. I do not think that Brynn hemphill fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because Tagged too quickly. Please see Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion#cite_note-Hasty-6. I request that you consider not re-tagging Brynn hemphill for speedy deletion until the drafter has had a reasonable chance to fill it in. DES (talk) 17:13, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

Changes to Christopher-lee dos Santos page
I believe important to keep Mr. dos Santos' page up to date with relevant links to his work for particular clients. The links I added to his page were all viable links showcasing his film work for said clients as well as trailers for the films he has directed.
I am going to re add them and hopefully you will see that the addition of said links is only to help educate those on the work done by Mr. dos Santos.

Recent changes
- Thanks to the Graph extension and Pageview API, we now have {{Graph:PageViews}} templates that can show pageviews for any wiki page for any of the wikis. See the examples.
- The Capiunto extension is installed on test wiki. Capiunto provides flexible infobox functionality for Scribunto and generates HTML for infobox features such as headers and rows. It is designed for clean and modern infoboxes that are driven by data from Wikidata, easily usable across different language versions, and easily extensible.
- The visual editor now follows the TemplateData
format
setting announced in November. When you edit or add a use of a template, the wikitext will be laid out in one of the two ways. [469][470] - The order of parameters and format defined in a template's TemplateData will be now respected. [471][472]
Changes this week
- On wikis where the visual editor is available in single edit tab mode, red links may open the visual editor instead of the wikitext editor, depending on user preferences. [473]
- Anonymous editor warning is now displayed as a warningbox for consistency in both the visual editor and the wikitext editor. [474]
- Parsoid has been updated to fit some HTML 5 specifications. [475]
Meetings
- Resigning executive director Lila Tretikov is taking questions at Knowledge Engine FAQ regarding the much talked about project. [476]
- You can join the next meeting with the VisualEditor team. During the meeting, you can tell developers which bugs you think are the most important. The meeting will be on 1 March at 20:00 (UTC). See how to join.

Recent changes
- Files on Wikimedia Commons can now be 2 GB big. The old limit was 1 GB. [477]
- Welcome notifications now have a different symbol. English Wikipedia already had this one. [478]
- The Wikimedia memory cache servers in the Eqiad cluster have now been upgraded to Debian 8 (Jessie). Some users might have had to log in again because of this. [479]
- It is now easier to categorize images uploaded to Wikimedia Commons in the Commons Android app. [480]
- Bare attributes in tags now parse according to the HTML5 specifications.
<pages from= to= section=1>
will parse as<pages from="to=" section="1">
instead of<pages from="" to="" section="1">
as it used to. Please use<pages from="" to="" section=1>
or<pages section=1>
instead. This is mostly likely to affect pages on Wikisource projects. [481]
Problems
- Phabricator has been a bit unstable lately. This should be fixed now. [482]
- The PageView API shows wrong data between 23 February and 29 February for pages with special characters in their title. [483]
- The parsing change mentioned above caused a large number of pages to break, especially on Wikisource. [484]
- You may see falsely formatted edit links on both mobile and desktop devices. Mobile devices can also show incorrect formatted table of contents. This should be fixed soon. [485]
- Templates using TemplateData that were edited with the visual editor might have some problems in wikitext mode. This can be fixed by editing and saving the page by using the visual editor without making any changes. [486]
Changes this week
- Cross-wiki notifications will be enabled as a beta feature on all wikis on 10 March. You will be able to get notifications when something happens on another Wikimedia wiki. [487]
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 8 March. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 9 March. It will be on all wikis from 10 March (calendar).
- Wikivoyages will get the Kartographer extension. Kartographer will allow
<mapframe>
and<maplink>
tags in an article to insert an interactive map and overlay it with different markers. You can add ideas and suggestions to the Maps talk page. If you find any bugs, you can report them in Phabricator. [488]
Meetings
- You can join the next meeting with the VisualEditor team. During the meeting, you can tell developers which bugs you think are the most important. The meeting will be on 8 March at 20:00 (UTC). See how to join.
Future changes
- The buttons in interfaces will be simplified. Instead of white, red, green and blue buttons, in future there will only be white, red and blue ones. [489]
- The Wikimedia technical operations team plans to do some server work on 22 March. This could cause some problems, for example make it possible to read but not edit the Wikimedia wikis for a short period of time. The date for this might change. [490]

Read the AFD
The AFD for the REactions article was redirected to the Death of Prince. Thus, the Death of Prince is a keep. This is not my decision. You cannot have a redirect to a deleted article as both AFDs were submitted at the same time. Whiskeymouth (talk) 06:37, 29 April 2016 (UTC)\

My Aunt Glad, Gladys Lanphere/Gladys Benjamin aka Gladys Gale
You have wrong information posted regarding one of my family members. Gladys Grace Benjamin aka Gladys Gale had NO children of her own. She died from cancer and not mysteriously.. This is hollywood fiction fodder. Please leave my comments in the document. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.231.74.108 (talk) 14:32, 14 August 2016 (UTC) 73.231.74.108 (talk) 14:33, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
My Aunt Gladys Gale wrong information
I will ask you again to please edit your inclusion of children who my Aunt did not birth. She had NO children. She also died in a motel room with cancer. I am asking you to correct this document to reflect the truth. I'm sure you would want this to be accurate and I am a relative. She has three living direct relatives. Myself, my brother and my cousin. Winnifred Landphere who became Koehler was her sister and my grandmother. I know the history of Gladys Gale as she is a family member. And I do appreciate you making a page for her. Thank you, she deserves it. Incarceration in the United States
The page compares incarceration rates in the US with incarceration rates in the USSR during the Stalin era. Such a comparison is misleading if you don't mention that millions people were executed in the Soviet Union during Stalin. You should either remove such a comparison or add a clarification saying that millions of people were executed. Similarly, you cannot compare the incarceration rates in the US with the incarceration rates during the Holocaust without mentioning how many people perished during the Holocaust. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Princetonian~ruwiki (talk • contribs) 06:36, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Waris Dirie
You reverted my edits on Waris Dirie because they "did not appear constructive"?? This woman had her son´s genitals mutilated, yet she received many honours for her "work against FGM"??! That´s hypocrisy to the extreme, please explain that! Martin Drucker (talk) 06:29, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
So you were very quick in reverting my edits, but not in answering why! I am so happy that I didn´t donate to Wikipedia, because people like you have destroyed it! Martin Drucker (talk) 06:40, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
And let me point out, that the german version of this article IS containing the quote I postet, it didn´t "appear to be not constructive" there. But people like you won´t ever answer... Martin Drucker (talk) 07:05, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Charles Dunne
Hello. Got your message about editing the page on Charles Dunne. Apologies, I am relatively new to editing and did not include explanatory comments. I see from the page revision history (https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Charles_Dunne&action=history) that you reverted my changes so presume you understood why I had made them. In future I will be clearer on leaving comments (and may set up an account too). Regards 193.128.202.131 (talk) 08:35, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Problems
- Last week Tech News announced you will get a notification when you mention yourself the same way as if someone else had mentioned you. This caused some problems and will happen later instead. [625]
- Creating and editing links to sections on other pages on the wiki now works again in the visual editor. [626]
- For some users, cross-wiki notifications haven't been working properly. The count has been wrong when only cross-wiki notifications were present. The cross-wiki bundle has been showing only the names of wikis and not the actual notifications. This will be fixed soon. [627][628]
Changes this week
- The login session when you choose "Keep me logged in" will now last a year. Previously it was 30 days. This will happen on August 16. [629]
- Some abuse filters will have to be updated during the week. This is because a bug will be fixed. [630]
- In compact language links, two new kinds of languages will be shown in the shorter language list: Languages that are used in the article's text, and languages where the article has a badge like "featured article" or "good article". [631][632]
- The visual editor will be available by default for logged-out editors on Wikipedias that use the Arabic script. It is already default for logged-in editors. [633]
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from August 16. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from August 17. It will be on all wikis from August 18 (calendar).
Meetings
- You can join the next meeting with the VisualEditor team. During the meeting, you can tell developers which bugs you think are the most important. The meeting will be on August 16 at 19:00 (UTC). See how to join.
Future changes
- Starting the week of August 22 there will be three software deployment windows. They will be at 13:00, 18:00, and 23:00 UTC. This is to have more times when software of the wikis can be updated and make it easier for developers in different parts of the world. [634]
