[edit]I have deleted all of the articles you have recently created as copyright violations. While Metapedia is licensed under the GFDL, that has not been a compatible license for importing text since 1 November 2008 (see Wikipedia:Licensing update for more details). Even if it were a compatible license, you would need to appropriately attribute the source in order to meet the terms of the license and per WP:PLAGIARISM. Please do not copy any text into Wikipedia from elsewhere without first ensuring that it is compatibly licensed and adding all required attribution. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:20, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- Very well. The infoboxes about the books were not copied off of metapedia, though. Are there any way of restoring them to me, so I can write original articles instead? That was my intention to begin with anyway, but since I missed the plagiarism rules (which make sense) I thought this was a reaonable start.
- To be clear, they were not deleted because they were plagiarized, but because they were copyright violations. I have copied the infoboxes onto your talk page below, so that you can cut and paste them into new articles you write from scratch. VernoWhitney (talk) 16:42, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
