Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tolly Mbwette, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Associate. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:15, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Performing arts in Tanzania requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ... discospinster talk 15:43, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Benson Kaile! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Irene Tarimo that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Rosemary Nyerere does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Hello, Benson Kaile

Thank you for creating Rosemary Nyerere.

User:Celestina007, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Remove references 1-5 , 8, 9, 13, 14, & 16, then proceed to add a source that shows she served as a Tanzanian member of parliament even if it is a non English source, without which I do not see your article’s subject scaling our notability threshold for politicians

Taji Liundi moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Taji Liundi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion discussion about Joyce Kinabo

[edit]

Hello, Benson Kaile, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username SuperSwift, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Joyce Kinabo, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joyce Kinabo .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SuperSwift}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Your draft article, Draft:Taji Liundi

[edit]

Hello, Benson Kaile. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Taji Liundi".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Ways to improve John Mrosso

[edit]

Hello, Benson Kaile,

Thank you for creating John Mrosso.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Hello, the references are weak, one is twitter. In addition you have just stacked ten references after the lead. MOS:LEADCITE. Please consider improving the references, and writing a body of prose where you can place references.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bruxton}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hello, Benson Kaile

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username IceBergYYC, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Tanzania Police Academy, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|IceBergYYC}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Creating user pages for other editors

[edit]

Can I ask why you're creating user pages for other editors? This seems to be against the spirit of WP:UOWN, which states "other users may edit pages in your user space or leave messages for you, though by convention others will not usually edit your user page itself, other than (rarely) to address significant concerns or place project-related tags".
