Hello,
Thank you for the feedback. The Reddit page was mine too; however, since it was causing problems with this entry I removed all traces from Reddit. Please let me know if I need to do anything else. This is a new organization and I need all the publicity I can get.
Many thanks. Ben-hurrian (talk) 01:40, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Ben-hurrian, Wikipedia is not a place to promote any organization — particularly not your own. Please read the conflict of interest policy, which is applicable to this situation as well. I see that you've now deleted the Reddit post, but the draft you created may still have to be deleted under the G12 criterion for speedy deletion. This is an organization that will not be realized for many years. First we have to solve the brain upload, which google is working on it and will take another 20 years. In the meantime, I am trying to raise awareness and approach NASA to stop wasting money on dearms which will never berealized (biological humans colonizing the galaxy). If I cannot extablish some public beachhead, I cannot continue to try to sway NASA to reallocate funding into brain upload research. Now, it is up to you guys to help with the future or delete the page. If you delete the page, my activism will become much harder.
Thanks. Ben-hurrian (talk) 02:08, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Altronauts requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.reddit.com/r/Altronaut/comments/16g576f/astronauts_cosmonauts_and_altronauts_distinctions/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
