Proposed deletion of Andrius Šležas

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Andrius Šležas, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? The Llama! (talk) 12:02, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalising the article

[edit]

Why do you keep vandalising the article about Lithuania national basketball team? The Aim of the roster is to describe it for the future. We don't need to add current club because we won't be able to change it for the time in the future. We post LAST YEAR CLUB for history reasons. If you want to post current club, use original articles of players or clubs. --Kraupu 04:44, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Image copyrights

[edit]

We can see that you've put some images onto wikipedia and you've written that you hold the copyright for them. These are the examples:

File:LinasKleizaLT.jpg File:KingJasaitis.jpg

These are the scans from newspapers or some other source and you don't hold the copyrights on these. Sorry if you do... It is copyrighted and we do not have permission to use it, so that means we are only able to justify its use under Fair Use laws. and guess what? the fair use regulations on Wikipedia are much stricter than in the United States.--Kraupu 18:46, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Belevicius! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 16 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Justas Sinica - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Simas Buterlevičius - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
