Tito Lara

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Tito Lara has been reverted. Look, I am as much interested in the life of Tito Lara as you, that is why I authored his bio in Wikipedia, however we have rules here and one of them is that Wikipedia is not to be used as a "fansite" That is why any addition which can be considered as POV (Point of view) and/or do not provide and cite reliable verifiable sources will be removed. Note: Wikipedia is an "encyclopedia" and not a "fansite". Use the sandbox for testing; please refrain from adding said statement and please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary when making constructive edits. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Gracias. Tony the Marine (talk) 20:27, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Robert, thank you for your messages and for sharing your wonderful experiences in regard to Lara. Of course, I don't mind you editing the article as a matter of fact I look forward to it. Sometimes we have the unpleasant situation in Wikipedia that some people will add false, both positive and negative, information to articles and that is one of the reasons that we require that additions be accompanied by a reliable verifiable citation (ex. newspaper article) which proofs what people have posted. The thing is that I believe you and that is why I would like to see your contributions here.

If you add something like "Experts say" or "He died with a smile on his face", then you have to proof it with a source, because some one will come along and "Where's the proof?" especially if the statement sounds as a POV, for example "Experts say that he had a perfect voice", if we can't proof that an expert did say that then it will considered as POV by someone and affect the integrity of the article. So, come aboard and if you have any question please do not hesitate to ask me. Dios te bendiga, Tony the Marine (talk) 21:02, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
