Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:The Potting Shed Resturant cafe, pot house hamlet.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:23, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Pot House Hamlet, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.thegardeningwebsite.co.uk/horsfields-nursery-at-pot-house-hamlet-i5034.html, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Pot House Hamlet and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Pot House Hamlet with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Pot House Hamlet.

It is also important that the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and that it follows Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at Talk:Pot House Hamlet/Temp. Leave a note at Talk:Pot House Hamlet saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Jeremy (talk) 13:47, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pot House Hamlet article

[edit]

Hi Beck, I am not involved with the OTRS (the people who deal with permissions emails) so I am not sure how long they will take to process your email. Assuming that they will provide confirmation I have restored the page, however the text will require significant work to be suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Specifically, all statements of fact must be attributed to a reliable source (see WP:RS for what the Wikipedia community considers a reliable source). There is also some of the history that is questionable, for example you wrote "Silkstone is mentioned in the Doomsday Book before many a town including Barnsley existed", however Barnsley is also mentioned in the Doomsday Book so this sentence doesn't make sense. Thanks, —Jeremy (talk) 21:25, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:The_Potting_Shed_Resturant_cafe,_pot_house_hamlet.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris 01:43, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. — This, that, and the other (talk) 08:37, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi The picture is of a womenswear shop! The glassworks are underground. Image to be removed

@Beck2008:, Image not to be removed, just alter the text slightly. 'View of where you can buy new knickers prior to visiting the glassworks underground.' Muffled Pocketed 14:43, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
