Mark Hamilton (bassist)

[edit]

@WikiDan61: Hi there Dan, I'm new to Wikipedia so I'm a little unsure of the process of how to debate a deletion request. I'll add my comments here then move them to the appropriate place if this is not it. Mark Hamilton is a notable figure because he still holds the record as the youngest person to ever headline Glastonbury Festival in the UK. He has been the bassist for the band Ash which has had two UK number one selling albums since it was formed in 1989. He co-wrote Lose Control on number one album 1977[1], and both Shark and Nicole on number one album Free All Angels[2]. On May 18, 1998, he joined Ash to play with U2 at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast in support of the Good Friday Agreement and told the Belfast Telegraph it "will probably always be the single most important show we'll have played"[3].

Beccabird, you should make your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mark Hamilton (bassist). Nothing you write here will be seen by anyone else in the discussion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:04, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
