This is released ever year and lists the songs of India finest rock bands. Surely this is reason enough. Why does the article keep getting deleted. Please help. You tagged the Chris King (sportscaster) article as not citing any sources even though it does. Bwmayes —Preceding comment was added at 06:56, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
The New Roster
[edit]Thanks for moving it and not just deleting it. Much appreciated. Darkone253 (talk) 06:54, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Precisely what about a stub with three sources, two of them documenting the incident in question, makes this an attack article? I was reading the Zach Thomas article and figured that since Bart was a player at the top level of amateur sports, he was deserving of an article if he had sources that would support it. It was only then that I discovered this alleged fondling incident. As a Dolphins fan and somebody who loves watching Zach play, it gives me no joy writing this about his brother. At the same time, it seems the article would be awfully incomplete without it. Erechtheus (talk) 18:12, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
About our last discussion
[edit]As a continuation of our discussion here, maybe this one could interest you: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A hand in the bush. Regards, Cenarium (talk) 00:24, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Earlier today, you put a speedy tag on this article. I just wanted to let you know that you may want to change it to a db-repost, as the article was already speedily deleted once. Tnxman307 (talk) 20:57, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
DB tags
[edit]Sorry, my mistake. I just saw the part about non-english articles not being included under nonsense, and not understanding Dutch, had no idea if it could be translated and salvaged. Amaryllis25 "Talk to me" 18:31, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Fwooper's reply
[edit]You left a message on the retractable claws article, (which I created). You said "I'm not sure that breaking a word down dictionary style follows Wikipedia guidelines. There is already a wikitionary." I just became a member today, and so I'm still figuring everything out. P.S. I'm 13

Prince Park Wiffleball
[edit]I'm sorry about the earlier use of profanity, however I was really upset that you deleted my page so fast. I'd like an explination and I'd like to know what I can do so the page remains. It is only about a wiffleball league and there is no harm done to you or wikipedia. It is not inappropiate either. Any help to get my page back up would be greatly appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RobbieG2448 (talk • contribs) 19:14, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

It goes with the Satanism article, there is a link in it called, "Reverese Cristians" but no article, so I made one. Please discuss this with me further before deleating it.Rev. Michael S. Margolin (talk) 03:02, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I saw your mention of having applied a speedy tag, agreed with you and deleted it. Only then did I see who had created the article! Michael Margolin tried to push his own organisation a couple of years ago without much success. Michael M. will probably repost the article and force us to take it to AfD but at the end of the day, the decision will be "non-notable neologism". (And of course the MoS says that the title should be reverse Christian.) -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 06:55, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
No problem, I just created it as part of wp:afc but you were right it was lacking context. Cheers! Acer (talk) 22:55, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Significance
[edit]Feel free to prod it or redirect it to Ben Affleck (in fact that's a good idea) but it's not eligible for A7. The notion of significance is different from the standards of Wikipedia:Notability. Hut 8.5 19:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

- Hey, sorry dude. In my experience users posting on other users pages is normally vandalism, especially what appeared to be article content; i just did it without thinking. My apologies! Ironholds (talk) 00:04, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Quick reply isnt an issue with me, i live and breathe wikipedia. one of these days i WILL wake up to find i've been sleep-editing. Thanks for the understanding, you are a true gentleman :). Ironholds (talk) 00:08, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I appreciate your input and your comments. I had updated the references and categories sections prior to removing the "This article or section needs sources or references.." item, so I wasn't removing your changes without making any updates. Have you checked any of the other scientific research foundations on Wikipedia? The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, for example, has zero references, and it doesn't have a "This article or section needs sources or references.." notice. (See for yourself in the category listing below.) At least with the references I provided, anyone can verify the Stable Isotope Foundation exists.
In terms of fairness, and notability, the "Lich" (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Lich), which is a fictional undead creature, does not have a "notability" disclaimer on Wikipedia. However, a non-profit organization of scientists and researchers with a peer reviewed journal, attempting to prevent cancer, which is currently killing nearly 25% of all people, is not notable. It's good to know people have priorities. The Lich won't save anyone. However, if we can omit the unstable isotopes of carbon-14 from our food chain, it will keep carbon-14 in our DNA from changing into nitrogen-14, and this should reduce the rate of spontaneous genetic mutations, some of which result in cancer. That would be a notable development.

[edit]If you find the tags helpful, I won't revert it again. (Generally, I find they do little beyond making articles ugly.) However, I would avoid full section removals without discussion on the article talk. Marskell (talk) 16:47, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

This guy is being an ass. All I want is time to get references and shit and I get tabs that keep saying my information is taboo! What is the reason for this, if I would have had a good hour it'd be done correctly
If the tabs are put up, how much time do I have to implement the changes/corrections necessary for approval?
- I have replied to Danielhill1990 at my talk page. Taroaldo (talk) 09:39, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
thank you
[edit]thanks for the help, and sorry for the trouble, I wasnt aware of the 'talk' ability until later on, which is when i stopped the tab deletion. - Much thanks for your answers to my questions

Removed speedy deletion tag: Bromosexual
[edit]Hi Beach drifter! I just wanted to inform you that I removed the speedy deletion tag you placed on Bromosexual- because: the page is not nonsense - there is meaningful content, even if it's made up or/and not true If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kingpin13 (talk) 07:30, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, although that doesn't mean that it meets G1 (g1 isn't for things which aren't true, use G3 for that). Also, even if it is a "hoax", it's not blatantly obvious, so G3 isn't suitable. You may also want to read Wikipedia:CSD#Non-criteria, which this article meets, hence the prod. Remember, when in doubt, go for AfD or PROD, not CSD :). Thanks for your work, keep it up - Kingpin13 (talk) 19:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
