Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Bdavis545! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 331 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Billy Davis (Arizona State Senator) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 08:24, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
The article Billy Davis (Arizona State Senator) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Although this person appears to meet WP:POLITICIAN the article fails to provide any verifiability and as such fails WP:GNG
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. All Hail The Muffin Nor does it taste nice... 02:17, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of NO CAUTION
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on NO CAUTION requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. GILO A&E⇑ 02:05, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

- Bdavis545, if you've added the information properly (it's neutral and sourced) the information won't be removed. However, if you have added statements without validation, they will be removed. Primefac (talk) 15:16, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
Deletion of templates
[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.Canterbury Tail talk 13:11, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
I made some significant edits to this article to resolve the cleanup templates, which are summarized here. Based upon your user name, and the type of information added to the article, it appears that there may be an autobiography, close connection, or another conflict of interest. So, I added information about editing when there are COI issues here.
Lastly, there is not properly sourcing for the article, and since it is a biography of a living person could be reason for its deletion. If you have any questions about this, please respond to the article talk page.–CaroleHenson (talk) 20:15, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Hello, I'm AntiCompositeNumber. I noticed that in this edit to Billy Davis (Arizona politician), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. AntiCompositeNumber (Ring me) 00:30, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
