[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Poems for Parliament", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is that of a website. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 16:06, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- The website poemsforparliament.uk is owned by me it is not an organisation, I am set up as a sole-trader publishing company with the same email address. My website is more relevant as disclosure of my association, I hope to submit a further Wikipedia entry about a new concept of a UN United Aspiration, but this concept will need some public recognition before I can submit it as a new entry. It links closely to the problems relating to ecological collapse entry that I am working on at the moment Poems for Parliament (talk) 16:22, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- The username policy does not permit a website name as a username, in part because every appearance of the name is a advertisement for it. The name can be part of a username, such as "JohnPublic of PoemsFP". You may also make disclosures as statements on your userpage. 331dot (talk) 16:34, 30 July 2021 (UTC) Thanks I have submitted a username change request. About your Draft article on Ecological overshoot
[edit]Hi @Global Aspiration:,
Welcome to Wikipedia. I am an WP:AFC reviewer. I am happy to see that your first creation is about a natural history article — ecological overshoot. I write and maintain natural history articles myself.
While the article is in reasonable shape for a new editor writing his first article, it can be developed further. Let me know, if you would like to have an article improvement session, with me giving you suggestions/points for improvement periodically for you to improve while learning Wikipedia editing. :)
Do read the links given in the welcome message, as well. Let me know if you are interested in this learning opportunity by replying here to my post.

Your EO draft
[edit]You can remove the draft submission information from the top an bottom of the draft if it is in fact your wish to continue to edit it before it is reviewed. David notMD (talk) 11:01, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- Also, I removed the hyperlink from your User page to your website, as that is not allowed. David notMD (talk) 13:20, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
Much appreciated, thank you for removing the link to my website from my user name. Does this mean I can keep my username as 'global aspiration'? Also please confirm whether I have understood correctly that no hyperlinks are permitted even to other Wikipedia entries. Thanks Global Aspiration (talk) 14:25, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Global Aspiration:, you need to change your username if needed in a way that it does not violate the policy given in this page: WP:Username policy, especially the section titled "Promotional names". Non-adherence to username policy could get you banned permanently from the group. Ashwin Baindur (User:AshLin) (talk) 14:46, 28 August 2021 (UTC)

- Thanks for this feedback Johannes. I am working with the Royal Society of Arts on their manifesto. I am optimistic that they will advocate this concept; this will help to make the article more objective. Also, my social science paper should emerge from peer review eventually, so that will hopefully become a reliable source. Am guilty of attempting to run before I can walk.
