Yes, you cannot insert your personal experience into articles. Please see the policy on no original research. Additions to articles should be backed up by third party references. By the way, if there's something wrong with the article just remove it or fix it. You can use the article's talk page to explain your concerns. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 18:03, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
That doesn't make much sense for a "native speaker" of a slang language. I think in that case you must use personal experience. It was like a was an Eyewitness to history. I guess I should have put some of my text in the talk pages. Bbozon (talk) 18:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and so does not publish any original research. Instead, like other encyclopedias, it tries to find articles/papers that have been written about a topic and summarizes them. Eyewitness accounts are generally not accepted as they need to be verified by a reliable source. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 18:52, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
