Hey, I'm just curious, but what area of Toronto was that row houses pic taken from. Blackjays 00:13, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I was sure that I answered this like a week ago! Obviously not. Sorry for the long response time.

Anyway, we were just driving down the street and I was just clicking away, paying no real attention to signs as I would normally do. However, I remember taking | this picture nearby (possibly on the same street), so odds are that if you know in what area this building is in, then you've got your general vicinity of the row houses. Good luck, and sorry I couldn't help! Bardiak 15:05, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:FC Fuzzo logo 1.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:FC Fuzzo logo 1.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:08, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter. You can delete it if you want. I was just using it in my sandbox, and then changed the page. Bardiak 06:08, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

24 Character Infoboxes

[edit]

Hi, I notice that you are a member of WikiProject 24 and as such I would like to draw your attention to [1]. It is someting I feel quite strongly about, that would affect a large number of articles on 24 characters, which I would like the opinions of others on. asyndeton 19:09, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tonight parody

[edit]

Hello. I posted this on the talk page for West Side Story, and copying it here for you as well.Thomprod 15:49, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't about the South Park one, but I was listening to a broadway station and a parody of "Tonight" came on, although it was listed as by Leonard Bernstein, Tonight (Tony and Maria), I think it was a parody and I'm trying to find it because I thought it was hilarious. I haven't actually seen West Side Story, but I'm not sure if the words 'Don't Cry for Me, Barbra Streisand' are in the musical version :) . If anyone could help me find it, I would greatly appreciate it. Beyond 'Don't Cry for Me, Barbra Streisand', there were parts where the singer was complaining about Barbra Streisand being chosen for some movie parts and stuff, sorry I don't remember much more... Bardiak 04:38, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Bardiak, I believe you heard a selection from Forbidden Broadway, whose many productions over the years contain parodies of other broadway musicals.Thomprod 17:43, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon

[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
