Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Claudio Ranieri have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Claudio Ranieri, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Leicester City F.C.. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 07:09, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

So, what is "unsourced" material ? Certainly not my input about Keven Phillips refuting Lineker & Souness´s rather stupid & childish remarks ( a Daily Mail article.) At the moment, both the artcles about Leicester City & claudio Ranieri are not only one.sided, but a long way from the truth. What gives you, as someone who is clearly a fan of Ranieri and dislikes Leicester City, the right to arbitrate on an article about that club ?

I recall also that, a couple of years ago, I added a comment about the cricketer, Brad Hodge ( which was accepted.) I was ten yards away from the incident. Do I have to write "Gary Lineker said...." or is my word good enough ?....

You 'broke' the formatting by inserting your text into the middle of a reference. It should have gone outside of the <ref> </ref> pair.
Information needs to be referenced. Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. See Help:Referencing for beginners and Help:footnotes. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). Per WP:V unsourced content can be removed.
There is a Help link in the left column of every page which will give you access to guides. Some may take a bit of digging, or you can ask at the wp:teahouse. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 18:05, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That information may border on wp:UNDUE and perhaps should not be there. See wp:biography of living persons. See wp:talk page guidelines for discussions. WP:DR if it becomes a problem. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 18:09, 6 April 2017 (UTC) OK-But i am annoyed that, in this instance, all the unpleasant ( and rather stupid ) comments from Lineker & Souness are there, but Kevin Phillips, who was on the inside, is not. That is not factual reporting. It is trolling. ( Although, I think, not by you. By Matththewhite.)....[reply]
