For future reference, since you are the only author of this page, and as you said it duplicates the existing disconnection article, you can simply place the {{db-author}} tag on the page to nominate it for speedy deletion. BryanG 18:38, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information. Does it make sense to change it now, or should I let the process run its course for this one? Or can I change it at all now?--Bantab 18:58, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, technically after I wrote the above comment I decided that it could potentially be a valid search term and boldly redirected it to Disconnection, so there's probably no point in doing anything now. But normally, it's my understanding that you could add the tag to the article even after the AfD nom, since you were the one who started the AfD nom in the first place. It would probably be a good idea to mention you did that on the nom too, just in case. Having said that, my guess is sooner or later an administrator would have seen the AfD nom and speedy deleted it as you suggested, so there wouldn't be any harm in letting it run its course either. It's just faster and more efficient to use speedy deletion in these cases. BryanG 19:12, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
If you are happy with this solution, you could do the following: Edit your nomination in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Disconnection in Scientology by enclosing it between <s> and </s>, so that you get "<s>I mistakenly created ... 18:03, 21 April 2006 (UTC)</s>", add after that something to the effect of: ". I am happy with this solution; nomination withdrawn; administrator, please close. ~~~~". —LambiamTalk 20:55, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- JzG took care of it and I am satisfied with what happened.--Bantab 21:00, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Categories
[edit]Your page at User:Bantab/environment appears in the categories listed on that page. I am unsure on Wkipedia policy on this matter bet I feel the it is preferable to not have user pages in the encyclopedia categories. Alan Liefting 08:37, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Proposed deletion of Force protection
[edit]The article Force protection has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- If this is merely going to repeat or paraphrase a term from a DoD dictionary, shouldn't it belong on the wiktionary, not here?
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Geo Swan (talk) 22:39, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
