[edit]Do not undo edits without having the courtesy to explain why. See WP:REVEXP. If you think text like "The Vision of the City is by 2030 to become Europe's best and most cosmopolitan tourist resort, a resort whereas its visitors will enjoy, its business will prospect, and its citizens will be proud of" is in any way valid encyclopaedic content, you are laughably mistaken. But I doubt you even read it, did you? 51.7.17.231 (talk) 22:41, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I wrote the answer. Of course you are right. With respect, Baden-Paul (talk) 23:12, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

Rollback
[edit]I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 16:12, 27 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to User talk:202.153.210.94: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. I noticed you used a level 1 warning instead of a level 4. Mstrojny (talk) 22:44, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

RE [1] I have already reported them. There's an LTA that makes a habit of inserting customer service (or similar) contacts into articles. I'm almost certain that it is a scam since I have seen the identical contact info show up for different companies. I don't remember if there is an SPI for this and it's not worth bothering to look since they are always such obvious indefs. Meters (talk) 06:07, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

the josh clover controversy section only serves to signal boost a far right smear. it takes the side of the right wing college students who are trying to get him fired. Certainly not worth a paragraph, and should include that it is part of a coordinated attack on a left wing professor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.81.30.199 (talk) 09:48, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
[edit]Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!
