Dave Abbruzzese

[edit]

The point remains that a second-hand account is not a reliable source. I'm sorry, I don't make the rules. Find a reliable source like an article that talks about his personal situation and it can be added. Until then, it shouldn't be added. Any biographical wikipedia article includes this message on the talk page:

"This article must adhere to the policy on biographies of living persons. Controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted or if there are other concerns relative to this policy, report it on the living persons biographies noticeboard."

So please find a reliable source. Thanks.-5- (talk) 01:55, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about a court document? http://www.supreme.state.az.us/publicaccess/notification/casedetail.asp?cs_id=kaogaaek&crt_name=Yavapai%20County%20Superior

Good enough? If not, well, that will be the end of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.240.167.40 (talk) 02:26, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That source will probably not suffice. That definately appears to be Abbruzzese, but there is no mention of specifics about what the case entailed, and there is no mention of a daughter. I'm not really comfortable delving into someone's personal matters like this in an article unless the matter is widely known or if the subject of the article has actually spoken about the matter in an interview.-5- (talk) 03:18, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as how the Child is a minor (reason name is withheld) and the case is about him dodging child support, I don't think you will find him mentioning his daughter in an interview.

Since you seem unfamiliar with court documents I will post some specifics.

The judge is a FAMILY LAW COMMISSIONER. Seeing as how he got married in 2006 the only family would be a child.

1/7/2005 CMPLT FOR PATERNITY >9/18/03 <---That would be the child.

7/19/2006 REQUEST TO ENFORCE SUPPORT

11/16/2006 NOTICE OF NON-COMPLIANCE

11/20/2006 ENFORCEMENT JUDGMENT

You seem determined to put this into the article, but what's the point? This simply isn't a good source for the detailed information that you attempted to add to the article, so until you find a better source, you should just drop it altogether. I actually question your intentions with wanting to add this.-5- (talk) 06:01, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here is what you attempted to add to the article:

"Abbruzzese has a daughter, Francesca, from a previous relationship. She was born in Jerome, Arizona in 2003 and is currently living with her mother in Austin, TX."

The name, birthdate, place of birth, and whereabouts of the individual cannot be attained from the source that you provided, so either find a source that provides that information or drop this.-5- (talk) 06:07, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just trying to add some information for those that wanted to know. He does have a child, she should get some acknowledgment. I guess till Dave Abbruzzese mentions her in an interview, she will have to remain unknown. Consider it dropped.
