Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Carlos Santana. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 14:26, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Rodriguez (singer-songwriter). Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Carlos Santana.

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Carlos Santana shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Carlos Santana Page Biography Mislead

[edit]

The following pages: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Carlos_Santana contain biographical errors. These are not limited to, but include: inaccurate statements on 'American' nationality that stray off the mainstream press' usual designation as 'Mexican-American'. This seems to be politically motivated since rather than restrict possibly valid criticisms on wikipedia usage, Geraldo took the same tact to erase a contribution to Sixto Rodriguez page where there was a citation provided for his biographical details as well. https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Rodriguez_(singer-songwriter)&action=history — Preceding unsigned comment added by BYOD Xicano (talkcontribs) 14:44, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See discussion at Talk:Carlos Santana § What nationality? and make your comments in existing discussion there. Geraldo Perez (talk) 14:50, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
