Edit warring at Digimon articles

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

You have been asked repeatedly not to add the information you provided without a source, as seen here and here. There have been no official reports that any of the companies you listed hold English distribution rights for Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, and Digimon Tamers. I have also noticed that these edits always end up listing Hasbro Studios as seen on https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Digimon_Adventure&oldid=870497058 though I do not believe you have made them. lullabying (talk) 00:11, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Digimon Data Squad. Once again, you've been warned many, many times about this, and should this happen again, you will be blocked from editing. IanDBeacon (talk) 20:56, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Distributor section on Infobox

[edit]

Don’t add any distributors on the infobox after the show ended, for example for Power Rangers, only list down Saban International, not BVS, Saban Brands or Hasbro Studios. Also, stop edit warring. Luigitehplumber (talk) 22:10, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  5 albert square (talk) 18:01, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I joined Wikipedia in 2018 and I knew next to nothing about the rules of editing pages, so the I learned was by making mistakes, learning what to do and what not to do, and looking at other people's edits for reference but i'm still so new to all this!— Preceding unsigned comment added by BWTF96 (talkcontribs) 19:19, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 14:14, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Why do you keep changing the time of your unblock request? You didn't post the template at 2.34am this morning. It was posted yesterday. I'm confused by your behaviour.-- 5 albert square (talk) 03:00, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I kept making mistakes & tried to fix them multiple times (because i'm kind of a perfectionist) but thankfully I fixed it to the way it was before! BWTF96 (talk) 04:24, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed your signature again for you. Please be advised that if you keep modifying the template or making unnecessary changes, you may lose access to your talk page.-- 5 albert square (talk) 23:49, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I am removing your talk page access for changing the template again, constantly changing it is now coming across as disruptive. I have corrected your signature yet again, it is correct as per WP:UNSIGNED. Unless the admin reviewing your unblock request reinstates talk page access, any future appeals will need to be made via the Unblock Ticket Request System.-- 5 albert square (talk) 03:18, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
