Thanks for the comment. The info comes from the closing credits of the series....plus the very obvious images in the series itself. The year is from the copyright date; perhaps the series was shot at the Burnaby Village Museum in the summer of '78. Huckleberry Finn and His Friends seems to have a large European fanbase, so you may have been getting visitors because of it and not knowing it. The DVD of the series is available on the UK and German versions of Amazon. Cheers, Wassupwestcoast (talk) 17:38, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:BVM photo theme.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BVM photo theme.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I've made a few changes to the article Burnaby Village Museum; mostly removed some material due to it reading like an advertisement. For articles to be kept on Wikipedia, they have to satisfy the notability requirements; in this case the page Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) outlines what is required. At the moment, the only sources the article cites are from the BVM website, which is not enough.

I see you are the curator of BVM (and hence have declared your conflict of interest.. please read Wikipedia's guideline Wikipedia:Conflict of interest). With this in mind, it may be difficult for you to write about the museum in a neutral way; a core principal we must follow in to write with a neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV).

It appears you tried to upload a photo of the museum; your photos are welcome, as long as you take the photos yourself; if you want to ensure the photos aren't deleted, you should upload them to Wikimedia Commons, and release them to the public domain (i.e. without copyright).. this ensures the photos are truly "free". If you have any questions, feel free to ask me (if you leave a message for me here, on your talk page, then I will see it). Also, please read the (official Wikipedia guideline) Wikipedia:Spam.
