Blocked[edit]

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, BOT-Twm Crys, your username suggest that this account is for an automated script, a "bot". That does not appear to be the case, and if it is, the bot does not appear to be approved..

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

I received a Wikipedia email from User:Llywelyn2000 requesting an unblock for this account, which was refered to as "my bot". t. User:Llywelyn2000 is not blocked and apparently never has been. This account does not have the bot-flag set, and does not appear to be an approved bot. It is not OK to run an unapproved bot, see Wikipedia:Bot policy, Wikipedia:Bot requests, and Help:Creating a bot. It is also not OK to have an account tha is not a bot, with a user name that implies that it is. Also, I do not see any disclosure that user:BOT-Twm Crys is an alternate account of User:Llywelyn2000.

Unblock requests are normally handled on-wiki unless there are confidential issues involved (which does not seem to be the case here) or talk page access has also been blocked (which is not the case here). In any case your email did not give any substantive reason for an unblock, and in particular did not indicate any intention to change the name of user:BOT-Twm Crys. I am not going to do any unblocks on that basis. If you want to be unblocked, I suggest that you follow the directions in the block notice above.
