Welcome

[edit]

Hello BNSF1995, and welcome to Wikipedia. I hope that you have enjoyed contributing and want to stick around. Here are some tips to help you get started:

If you need any more information, plenty of help is available - check out Wikipedia:Questions; ask your question here and attract help with the code {{helpme}}; or leave me a message on my talk page explaining your problem and I will help as best as I can. Again, welcome! strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 19:01, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ampersands

"And" is almost always preferred to using an ampersand. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Ampersand for details. Majorclanger (talk) 21:04, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Joke

[edit]

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want. Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to List of never built Disney attractions, but we cannot accept original research. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Mario Kart 8 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • Three retro courses (one from ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'') and two from ''[[Mario Kart 7]]'') were also shown in the trailer.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited King Kong Encounter, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Imagineer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Final warning for disruptive editing

[edit]

You have, on numerous occasions been asked by members of the community to stop adding unsourced content, and to stop adding original research. In this edit at The Tom and Jerry Show (2014 TV series), you do both of those things again. Unless Hanna is credited as a cast member, you are submitting original research by describing him as a member of the cast. And even if you are sure that the archival audio is Hanna, because it sounds like him, or even if you processed the archival audio and compared his vocals in this series with vocals from another incarnation, unless you can provide a reliable source that it is him, it is original research. If you can find a source that says that it's him, that's fine and you could write about the use of his voice somewhere in the Production section, but he should still not be added to the cast because again, it would be original research. Please do not submit this content again or your account will be nominated for administrative intervention. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on the article's talk page. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Pirates of the Caribbean (attraction), you may be blocked from editing. While you evidently haven't done it lately, you have a history of adding unsourced material even after repeated warnings not to do so. Please don't resume this pattern. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon You made a recent edit to the Disneyland Railroad article, which has been reverted due to being entirely unsourced. This is currently a featured article, and disruptive edits will not be tolerated. I can see from your talk page that you have been given similar warnings over the past several years regarding the addition of unsourced content and have been blocked for it on at least one occasion, so there is no reason why you should not be fully aware that this is inappropriate. Please improve the quality of your edits. Jackdude101 (Talk) 04:42, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Tugs (TV series). Diffs: [1] You've been told numerous times to stop adding your personal analysis to articles. If you want to ruminate about the differnces between Tugs and Thomas the Tank Engine, start a blog and ruminate there. The next time you add this sort of unsourced analysis, you will be blocked. You've been doing this sort of thing for years, and it's getting old. The fact that you don't seem to understand why this is a problem, raises questions about your ability to edit at Wikipedia constructively. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:46, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of Nostalgia Critic episodes (2018) unexpected deletions

[edit]

Somebody keeps deleting an article called List of Nostalgia Critic episodes (2018), and all the deletions are for absolutely no reason and appear to be mindless. Every time it gets deleted, it gets restored in the form of a draft, and I would like you to move that draft into a real article, and prevent any more deletions from happening and let it remain there for the rest of the year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.71.191.0 (talk) 01:46, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

BNSF, this article was deleted at AfD; it has now been deleted again and salted because it was being persistently recreated. It was also entirely unreferenced, and for an article of that length, that is particularly concerning and a good chance of a copyvio. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 08:01, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot cite forums, especially when they're your own posts

[edit]

Adding information to an article and citing it only to your own posts on a discussion board is wholly unacceptable. You have done exactly this at Virginia and Truckee Railroad, which is chock full of original research. You've been warned many times about original research, and yet you continue to add it. Either you can start adding sources, or you're going to end up blocked from Wikipedia. I suggest you choose to cite reliable sources so you can become a net positive here, instead of a net negative.
