Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Dancing in the Street has been reverted.
Your edit here to Dancing in the Street was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mZkE6RapFY, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoZjnsG60wl) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 16:42, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Alone (i-Ten song) and Taking a Cold Look. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:14, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I won'this do this until the article is created, thank you. BCuzwhynot (talk) 13:31, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you've got a source from Billboard and Rolling Stone, this edit cannot stand. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:58, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in WNYL (FM), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. BlueboyLINY (talk) 05:15, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to All Through the Night (Jules Shear song). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Do not move Good articles without first getting a consensus to do that. If you do it again, you may be blocked from editing. noq (talk) 12:07, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I moved it becuase we usually don't name song articles after a cover version. And I though that would be a better name. BCuzwhynot (talk) 12:18, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Rod Ponton. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Gab4gab (talk) 01:47, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Rod Ponton Today Show.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rod Ponton Today Show.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Elli (talk | contribs) 00:20, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I said, if you want a smaller version, upload it on your own file page. BCuzwhynot (talk) 01:08, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's not what "replaceable" means. Someone could go out and take a freely-licensed image of Rod Ponton, as he is alive, therefore the fair use claim is invalid and the image must be deleted. The size of the image is not what's relevant here. Elli (talk | contribs) 01:14, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'm super sorry. I'm only learning about uploading files. Thanks. BCuzwhynot (talk) 01:18, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a sock puppet

[edit]

Please note that I don't support block evasions nor am I a sock. I am a legitimate user from another ip adress. Thanks for understanding. BCuzwhynot (talk) 01:26, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Favonian (talk) 18:09, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Mistaken to be a block evasion

Decline reason:

Confirmed block evasion, no comment with respect to the IP 141.193.118.3. Yamla (talk) 21:36, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I edit from a different ip adress, you see. It would make no sense to make one edit on a page and use a sock puppet for the other edit. I never was a block evasion of that adress. Sure, sometimes we edit the same page, sometimes we have similar activity, but we are unrelated. My internet protocol adress was never the adress you claimed it was. I know you may not believe me, but this is true. Please unblock me. I'm sorry for moving Rod Ponton to the mainspace. But I can't change that now. Thanks. Orphaned non-free image File:Rod Ponton Today Show.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Rod Ponton Today Show.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:30, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Your draft article, Draft:I-Ten

[edit]
