Welcome!

Hello, Aziliz Breizh, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Annie Jay, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 16:33, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Annie Jay has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Constance, Duchess of Brittany may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Constance, Duchess of Brittany, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brest. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fairer-than-a-Fairy (Mailly), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.thefullwiki.org/Fairer-than-a-Fairy.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) If in future you want to move an article to a new title and turn the old title into a disambiguation page please use the move tool to move the old page, rather than copying and pasting the content. Cut-and-paste moves destroy the page's edit history. I've repaired the history of this one. Hut 8.5 21:42, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Raymond VI, Count of Toulouse does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks for your contributions. It really helps everyone else here if you leave an edit summary. Eric talk 20:04, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Raymond VI of Toulouse

[edit]

I've edited pages about Raymond VI's wives in several languages. Raymond married five times: after Joanna's death, he married the Damsel of Cyprus. There's no evidence that Burgundia of Lusignan ever left her homeland and went to France. The confusion arrive from the fact that both the Damsel and Burgundia were daughter of Emperors of Cyprus. Apart from the website Medieval Lands, whose reliability is sometimes challenged Steven Runciman's History of Crusades also states that Burgundia wasn't Raymond's wife.--Aziliz Breizh (talk) 16:58, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Viscounts of Léon

[edit]

Obviously, our Harvey II, ruling from 1103, cannot be the same person as the French WP's Hervé II, born about 1110. There seems to be some disagreement or confusion in the sources over whether there was one or two Harveys during the first half of the 12th century. Viscounty of Rohan moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Viscounty of Rohan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited House of Rohan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Your draft article, Draft:Viscounty of Rohan

[edit]

Hello, Aziliz Breizh. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Viscounty of Rohan".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 11:04, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Rohan, Morbihan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
