Question for a JavaScript wizard

In TWINKLE, you make tabs appear next to the Page, Discussion, Edit This Page, New Section, History etc. tabs at the top of the page (the TW tabs are things like 'watch', 'warn', 'arv' etc.) - how do you do that in Javascript? I've looked at the TW source code but I can't get it to work properly. I'm adapting someone else's code - the current structure is:

function closemottotab() {

 addTab("javascript:closemottonom()", "close nom", "ca-close nom", "close nom", "close nom");
 akeytt();

}

addOnloadHook(function() {

 if (document.title.indexOf("Nominations") != -1 && document.title.indexOf("\(section\)") != -1) {
 addOnloadHook(closemottotab);
 }

});

This is to add a tab at the top, when the title of the page contains 'Nominations' and '\(section)\'. Please help! Thanks, Smaug123 (talk) 21:23, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Look for "addPortletLink" in e.g. User:AzaToth/twinklespeedy.js; the function is defined in wikibits.js. Amalthea 01:13, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, I'll have a look at that! Smaug123 (talk) 08:12, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

I've had a look at it, but I can't get it to work. What's wrong with this code?

(snip) Thanks! Smaug123 (talk) 17:48, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Don't worry, it's sorted now. Thanks guys! Smaug123 (talk) 18:16, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. You might want to take a look at this BLP article, which you protected some time ago. An editor seems to be bent on introducing an internal link to the Islamophobia article on the "See also" section of the BLP article. I reported the matter to AiV & RfP. Thank you. University Infobox

I have made a request at Template talk:Infobox university, and I was hoping that you could take a look at it, place a comment, or even, perhaps, fulfill the request. Thank you, HuskyHuskie (talk) 22:34, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Twinkle

I made an edit to the Ray Gordy page. I just checked it and it said I had reverted my own edit using Twinkle. I did not revert my edit, nor do I have Twinkle. Why is it then, that it appeared? He's just A Common Man! (talk) 16:08, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Are you seeing the red [rollback (VANDAL)] link at the top of [1]? Then you have Twinkle activated. Go to the Gadgets tab in Special:Preferences to deactivate it if you don't want to use it, to prevent accidental mis-clicks. The only other two possibilities how that edit could have ended up in your contributions history is either you manually typing that edit summary, or that someone is editing using your account. Or, of course, a cosmic ray has flipped a bit in the database. Amalthea 18:21, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
