[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. Your recent edit(s) to the page Albert Einstein appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 15:50, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- I have but I do not know how to provide the citation.
- Here is the source-
- https://www.britannica.com/biography/Albert-Einstein
- Britannica says he us German-American. Ayush6568 (talk) 17:13, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Ayush6568: Yes, but first, Britannica is an encyclopedia, and thus a wp:tertiary source where Wikipedia prefers wp:secondary sources. Second, more importantly, if you look at the article talk page and its many archives, there is a strong long-standing wp:consensus to have the article say in the wp:firstsentence that Einstein is German-born, and to extensively describe the (many) other nationality issues in the body of the article. That is why in the html-comment there is a little note to remind editors of this: "Please do not change this—see talk page and its many archives". As you are using the so-called visual editor, you might not have seen that note. Hope this helps! Cheers - DVdm (talk) 17:51, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I'm EN-Jungwon. I noticed that in this edit to Amartya Sen, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. EN-JungwonTalk 03:51, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
Please restore some content of the article. I have mistakenly removed the first column. I would be grateful if you do so. Ayush6568 (talk) 04:13, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
I have successfully restored my last edit and added the column I had mistakenly deleted Ayush6568 (talk) 04:38, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Amartya Sen, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Thanks! But I did not do it intentionally.... I was trying to rectify some information but mistakenly some content was removed. Hope you understand. Ayush6568 (talk) 14:59, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
Net worth parameter
[edit]Please do not readd the net worth parameter, as you did at Jeff Bezos. A centralized discussion at Template talk:Infobox person has deprecated it. ~ HAL333 01:49, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Brian Kavanaugh-Jones
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Brian Kavanaugh-Jones requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Minasta (talk) 11:28, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

- Well, I just uploaded one. This one is an SVG and that too from the company's website. Ayush6568 (talk) 08:36, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
