The Christian Guardian

[edit]

A decade and a bit late, but bravo, very well written. I think it would easily pass as a good article.

(The United Church has posted the issues online in last year or so, a little search on the left hand side, if you're curious.) -- Zanimum (talk) 01:58, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I had completely forgotten The Christian Guardian. I was following a chain of redlinks from Heliconian Club, came across this subject, pulled together what I could find online, then moved on. It is quite long, but I think it would need more to be a good article, particularly information on ownership, employees, pricing and circulation - the business aspects. Perhaps someone will take an interest and expand it, but the audience would be very limited. Aymatth2 (talk) 17:25, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article Terry Breverton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Promotional article, probably self-written, without reliable independent sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:30, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Missing articles

[edit]

Do you fancy working on an article on a place in Europe where the sources are in English? I know. Systemic bias and all. It's not a modern place. Uncle G (talk) 17:19, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
