Notability of Mark A Sanders[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Mark A Sanders, by Ocatecir (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Mark A Sanders seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Mark A Sanders, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 15:58, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.--Hu12 (talk) 19:16, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This seems unreasonable. Bicycle design blog is NOT an advertising medium, rather it is an informative, balanced and neutral blog about bike design. Surely this is exactly the sort of place wikipeadia readers should be referred to ? (sorry if protocol imperfect - but I hope the message is clear :-)

I think that was a different Mark Sanders. The Mark Sanders refered to is the Inventor/designer/engineer referred to on pages https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Strida and https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Belt-driven_bicycle.

References to Mark Sanders(Inventor/designer/engineer) notability references include

include: British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs) Design Engineer of the Year 2009 - See more at: http://www.eurekamagazine.co.uk/design-engineering-news/beeas-highlight-engineering-as-worthwhile-profession-and-career/32115/#sthash.PaQezp0k.dpuf

Hello Axis77a. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Mark Sanders".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mark Sanders}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 08:02, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
