Van Halen
[edit]I did? Oops! (The Elfoid 13:13, 14 August 2007 (UTC))
Someone removed him anyway though. I put him back. (The Elfoid 13:25, 14 August 2007 (UTC))
The wikiproject van halen
[edit]OK so only me, you and an inactive admin are members...but we should still use it I guess. For now the 'needing attention' pages is the section I feel we could best use to co-ordinate our work. (The Elfoid 19:51, 15 August 2007 (UTC))
Offer me a hand?
[edit]Wikipedia:WikiProject Van Halen You ignored my last attempt to contact you, but I ask anyone who can help to help in case they say yes.
See the message I left next to pages in need of urgent attention? (The Elfoid (talk) 02:14, 2 January 2008 (UTC))
Sorry, I tend to expect replies for most things. But I'm the talky type. Anyway...someone's doing some work to the tour page, Alex Van Halen's page is just...I don't know where to begin but any citation finding or re-writing or adding of details would help. AfD nomination of List of Christian metal bands
[edit]An editor has nominated List of Christian metal bands, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Christian metal bands and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:44, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Luna Halo
[edit]Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Luna Halo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 06:59, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Family Force 5 Article
[edit]The same guy, Landon, is still edit warring on the Family Force 5 page, I'd like some help to make sure ther page doesn't go sour. IronCrow (talk) 21:14, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- I try not to concern myself with infobox genre edit warring. It happens on every band article ive worked on, family force 5 is minor compared to Underoath in this area. I created the Musical style section to try and clarify, because most people who edit infoboxes are too lazy to do anything about the actual article. If you feel something needs to be said make sure it is covered in the musical style section and source it well. (try to find sources that are not directly from the band itself) if someone removes a sourced statement without using a [verification needed] template, then you have every reason to revert the edit. --Axcess (talk) 23:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
see WP:Source Primary, biased sources are not permitted. I am acting in good faith here, those sources have several problems with them. 78.129.175.207 (talk) 23:42, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia policy also states: "Appropriate sourcing can be a complicated issue, and these are general rules. Deciding whether primary or secondary sources are more suitable on any given occasion is a matter of common sense and good editorial judgment, and should be discussed on article talk pages." They do not say sources such as interviews cannot be used as sources, instead, it says if it is used, make sure it's sourced/cited correctly. IronCrow (talk) 23:48, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Sanctus Real (album)
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sanctus Real (album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- demo tapes are usually not notable, and I can only find a couple of reliable sources that mention its existence
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free image (File:Sanctus Real Demo Tape.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Sanctus Real Demo Tape.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 21:09, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
