[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rabbi Hossain Khan.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on TahseeNation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 23:06, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on TahseeNation, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

On the TahseeNation article's notability

[edit]

Hello. As you know, your article, TahseeNation has been tagged for speedily deletion. I googled his name and got links to his social media accounts (incl. YouTube) from him and a single link from 3rd party sources (see here and here). Under the notability guidelines, this is not good enough for a person to have their own article. However, in the future, he may get enough good sources to be included. See WP:GNG. Basically:

  • Significant coverage: The topic is described "directly and in detail". It needs to be more than a sentence, but doesn't need to be the main topic of the source.
  • Reliable: The topic has been covered in a reliable source. See WP:REPUTABLE for an idea.
  • Sources: These should be secondary sources in general, although sometimes others are permitted. (See WP:PSTS and WP:BLPSPS, as well as WP:BLPSELFPUB)
  • "Independent of the subject": "Independent of the subject" excludes works produced by the article's subject or someone affiliated with it. For example, advertising, press releases, autobiographies, and the subject's website are not considered independent." (From WP:GNG)

These only scratch the surface, but should be good enough if you want to make another article. If any of this is confusing for you, perhaps go ask someone at the Teahouse, where someone will help you.

P.S. Please use your own words next time. Quoting a source, with or without attribution, is a Copyright violation and Wikipedia takes them very seriously.

Hope this helps, 2601:4A:C300:412:615E:61CA:AA6A:6310 (talk) 05:07, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
