Mildmay line article situation

[edit]

I need an answer why you couldnt just intergrate it with the north london line like i did Yiqhvkfb (talk) 15:56, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Because for now the community already decided to create a new Mildmay line page to describe the service, so as the Windrush line. The existing page will only for the infrastructre of the railway, I think a better example is Crossrail (a infrastructre project about building tunnels to connect), and Elizabeth line (a rail service which intergrate former TfL Rail, which they were connected by Crossrail tunnel), which we didn't merge them right?
And I should inform you: The Mildmay line is a combination of North London line and West London line. Just like Windrush line, which this is a combination of East London line and South London line. I think you can launch a new topic in these pages, if you think we should merge all this into one. Only change contents on North London line but remain West London line unchanged will only create more confusion. Awdqmb (talk) 16:10, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The status that both Mildmay and Windrush is a combination of two railway lines is easily to check. In normal service pattern, trains on Mildmay will start at Stratford, and end at Clapham Junction (or follow original NLL route to Richmond). They won't terminate at Willesden Junction on both line. So as the Windrush-trains will not terminate at Surrey Quays, instead they will start from Clapham Junction all the way to Dalston Junction. Awdqmb (talk) 16:19, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, if you haven't seen the discussion about the present status, here it is: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_London_Transport/Archive_12#New_London_Overground_lines.
You can add a new topic about your idea later, if you don't agree with the present status. But now I will reverse the page to a more proper version under this present consensus. We can change it if we reach a new one. Awdqmb (talk) 16:43, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
