New Usercheck
Hello: if you are receiving this, you have transcluded Example (talk · message · contribs · global contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · user creation · block user · block log · count · total · logs · summary · email | lu · rfas · rfb · arb · rfc · lta · checkuser · spi · socks confirmedsuspected | rfar · rfc · rfcu · ssp | current rights · rights log (local) · rights log (global/meta) | rights · renames · blocks · protects · deletions · rollback · admin · logs | UHx · AfD · UtHx · UtE), I have created a Usercheck with more content, that I plan to update with more when I come across it, as of right now Usercheck-Super has only three more things than Usercheck-full, but as mentioned, I plan to update it, the three things I mentioned are pending changes log, giving all of the revisions you have accepted or rejected, Abuse filter, which gives you the ability to examine your edits, and get many details about an edit, along with Articles created, which links to a page which gives a breakdown of all the pages you have made. New Page Review - newsletter
- Breaking the back of the backlog
If each reviewer does only 10 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
Let's get that over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.
- Second set of eyes
Not only are New Page Reviewers the guardians of quality of new articles, they are also in a position to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged for deletion and maintenance and that new authors are not being bitten. This is an important feature of your work. Read about it at the new Monitoring the system section in the tutorial.
- Getting the tools we need - 2016 WMF Wishlist Survey: Please vote
With some tweaks to their look, and some additional features, Page Curation and New Pages Feed could easily be the best tools for patrollers and reviewers. We've listed most of what what we need at the 2016 WMF Wishlist Survey. Voting starts on 28 November - please turn out to make our bid the Foundation's top priority. Please help also by improving or commenting on our Wishlist entry at the Community Wishlist Survey. Many other important user suggestions are listed at at Page Curation.

Please stop removing the double indirect. It is intentional. If there ever is an article, then the link should point to Ava Maru Iincident. 03:44, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Double redirects should never be intentional. Avicennasis @ 14:51, 6 Kislev 5777 / 14:51, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- "Since a new page may be created, links to this redirect should not be replaced with a direct link to the target page."
- I've reverted again. Please consider this a WP:3RR warning. Glrx (talk) 18:29, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- When the new page is created, the redirect can be changed then. Until then, a double redirect is not needed and breaks actual navigation to the page. AvicBot will continue to fix it, and if not AvicBot, some other bot will step in to do the same. The guideline at Wikipedia:Redirect#Double_redirects states: The software will not follow chains of more than one redirect – this is called a double redirect. A redirect should not be left pointing to another redirect page. Should you feel certain cases should be allowed, I recommend you try to establish a consensus at Wikipedia talk:Redirect for such a change. Avicennasis @ 18:37, 6 Kislev 5777 / 18:37, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Please read WP:NOTBROKEN ("Reasons not to bypass redirects include": first bullet; also fourth bullet) and turn off your bot. You should know this stuff better than I do. Glrx (talk) 18:51, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Respectfully, I do know this stuff better than you do. WP:NOTBROKEN makes no mention of double-redirects - it's addressed elsewhere, as I've linked above. WP:NOTBROKEN deals with bypassing single-redirect links in text, and does not cover the use case you are trying to make here. AvicBot will remain active. I am sorry that I am not able to properly explain this to you, as it appears you still don't understand why double-redirects are always bad. Avicennasis @ 20:48, 6 Kislev 5777 / 20:48, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Lisaandlena Article
Hello just as a heads up i have removed your Proposed deletion tag for Lisaandlena, and replaced it with Criteria for speedy deletion which would seem to be more suitable in this situation based on the lack of Credible claim of significance. Necrosis Buddha 08:47, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. Avicennasis @ 16:22, 20 Kislev 5777 / 16:22, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Category changes on talk pages
Hello, I disagree with edits like this, because they change the meaning of signed comments. The original category was part of the comment; if you're going to add a category to show that the users were indefinitely blocked, then it should be done somewhere else. Graham87 16:03, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Graham87: Categories are changed in comments all the time, with some templates even encouraging the process. However, I can understand your point of view. Going forward, I will only add the category, in a separate message. Avicennasis @ 16:21, 20 Kislev 5777 / 16:21, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
The orgy team?
I just spent a few minutes reverting your bot on this and this type of thing. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 14:06, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
- Vandal caused it. Thanks for fixing it, though. Avicennasis @ 14:07, 21 Kislev 5777 / 14:07, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
