PEER EVALUATION

[edit]

Good job, Autumn.ray18 , you covered all of the questions for the "evaluation" assignment. Keep an eye out word tense (appeared, appears in back to back sentences) opportunities within your articles. I'm not sure if Word or Google Docs check for tenses but there are online sources such as "sentencechecker" which features grammer checks to ensure you haven't missed anything. Once checked and reevaluated then copy/paste onto the Wikipage for a final product. Also, remember even though you answered all of the questions for the assignment in regards to editing or research, use the assignment as practice for your writing skills. You have all of the information needed to complete your evaluation, but the sentences are more of bullet point answers and not true paragraphs. Use full sentences and work on word flow to ensure ease of reading from one topic to another. You made a point highlighting the majority of information comes from one source. Have you conducted research to find more sources for which to expound the information inside the article? Another point is made in regards to examples of "trial by combat" from a majority of European countries, and not from the Americas. I would be interested in seeing if you could locate instances within the Americas. When were the first examples noted, did they follow the methods of the European countries, when did this type of trial fizzle out, and what was it replaced with? Just some ideas on information to add to your article. Keep up the good work and good luck on your assignments. Astrorocket2108 (talk) 22:57, 28 October 2018 (UTC) Astrorocket2108[reply]
